Woke up at 3.00 freezing,shivering and by 4.00 realised I was in trouble. Dialled 999 ambulance came now in hospital with pneumonia! Happy new year to you all.

I came home 2 days before Xmas after 28 nights in R D & E Exeter where I had been placed in a chemical controlled coma following emergency admission for respiratory failure due to secondary pneumonia virus and Intensice care for 16 nights. I want to thank you all for the support, cards, flowers and visits you offered to Sandy who sat for 10 nights by my side in Exeter ICU unsure if I would live or be a vegetable and all of it unknown to me at the time. We have officially cancelled Xmas 2015 unable to cope with it all, but every day has become a Xmas in itself as I am returned home safe if a little weak and still very confused we are thinking of you all with gratitude and love.
