Hi all,
Just finished (well just about finished) sorting out my old home and put it on the market. So, been really busy. Now all I have to do is get Christmas cards and presents sorts today and I can relax for Christmas - oh that's after I do the ironing, and housework!

I sold up in SW London in October '14, stayed near my son in France for the winter and moved into new (1840) place in April. I'm still recoiling from the stress of it! Now renovating.

Well done you. I moved about 3 months ago and still have to clear the old house out! Logic says if I haven't needed it in the last 2 months any thing left should be binned but I hate parting with stuff.
I'm getting there with the new house but sadly to budget ran out before I have finished all round.
Don't over do things you don't want to be laid up at Christmas 2 weeks today OMG

Hi all,
Just got back from my old place, been there since 5 Dec. Nice to spend Christmas and New Year there. Just no internet so that is why thing shave been quiet. Got an offer so accepted it. Just hope it goes through OK. Next we put his place on the market and we can get a more modern place with a small garden - actually a back yard would do me now. We have quarter of an acre here and it is just too much. Where we move to will depend on how much we get also need to be nearer or in a town where there is a bus service or we can walk to shops and amenities. Here we can't be without a car.
