Not sure, but have you tried hairdressing shops! It used to be used to dye hair blonde.

I wrote a reply to this, but can't see it so at the risk of duplication ..... The 35% strength has to be diluted to 3% anyway, so a lower concentration isn't too important. I tried it for 8 months and did not have a single chest infection in that time. I'd previously been experiencing infections every 6-8 weeks which was why I tried it. It's pretty foul to ingest and can make you physically vomit. Research it fully if you have not already done so. It's not a cure, but should perhaps be seen more as having an antibacterial/antibiotic effect.

Hi,

Could you please explain what the "one minute cure is"?

Thanks

Not sure about this. I still have a bottle but when I first came on here someone has tried this and was in distress afterwards. Not sure what happened though as don't think I saw a follow up post. If you do this let us know how you get on.

Sian.

PS. You can buy it in quart bottles in the US which makes me laugh because it has been restricted here because it cal be used to make explosives!

Hi just looked for that post about hydrogen peroxide but it must have had a different heading because I couldn't find it. If you put hydrogen peroxide in the search box on the top right hand corner you will find a lot of posts for it.

first of all it's essential to read 'One Minute Cure',believe it can be downloaded for free.all the information is in it.untill you have read it you won't be able to understand what people are talking about.[but note 35% has to be diluted to 3% anyway.]but both have to be used with distilled water.

Unless you are being medically supervised I would not even go near it!

I agree with Offcut. Read up on side effects and dangers too. x

Matildarose, my advice would be not to try this. If there was something as simple as 'a one minute cure' that actually worked, I think we would all know about it.

Personally, I would seek my GP's advice before trying anything new.

Research & ask advice of a medical professional before you decide to do this. You're health is extremely important! 🌻

It is food grade hydrogen peroxide.

Not commercial.

I know you can get 40 vol peroxide in most chemists as someone else said in the hair colouring section its also called 12%, there is one made by Jerome Russell I think.

Please note you need food grade solution which is different to the chemical used in hairdressing.

I think you will see there is so much research you need to do before embarking on this project.

I bought some 3% food grade - it smelt like bleach but is really good for cleaning UPCV window frames if diluted.

I do not recommend ingesting this stuff however dilute (although 3% is RELATIVELY harmless), there is no scientific evidence to support this practice, but the following site seems to have all the information about it that you might need: bobbyshealthyshop.co.uk/Hyd...

However: sciencebasedmedicine.org/pi...

Quote:

'Hydrogen peroxide is made in minute quantities by most eukaryotic cells, including those in humans. It is one of the “reactive oxygen species” involved in redox reactions, most importantly lipid metabolism. It is also involved in the destruction of microorganisms by phagocytic cells.

In order to protect against toxicity, our cells sequester H2O2 in special organelles (peroxisomes) and tightly regulate both its synthesis and its decomposition. When such regulation fails, endogenous hydrogen peroxide contributes to disease states, including hepatic necrosis and adult respiratory distress syndrome—probably because when it leaks from damaged cells it destroys the lipid cell membranes of other cells, leading to a vicious cycle of inflammation and cell destruction.'

I agree with many of the others; you should do a thorough job of researching the subject and perhaps while you're doing that keep in mind that this group is made up of sufferers of this damnable COPD and if there WAS indeed an easy "one minute cure" for it..., don't you think we'd all be on it like "white on rice" ???!!

If there was a one minute cure or cure of any sort, there would be no need for this group....
