I am a noble to go to the gym as I have broken my toe ouch! And can't get my gym shoes on. It is raining a lot at the mall moment as I haven't been out walking. Do any of you know of a good dvd or indoor exercise routine? Many thanks and have a great weekend xx

Hello Kristen

In Velvets World.....

Broken toe !! Raining !! No exercise DVD !!

Your body is trying to tell you.....Stay in...have a lazy day.....pamper yourself....take to the recliner with the telly remote and chocolate.

I may not be fitter.....but l will be happy !!

I promised myself that when my little boy stated school I would stay in bed for a whole day of self indulgence. He turns forty on Christmas Eve and I still haven't done it!

G'day Peter

I remember you , my little Aussie mate, who is prone to falling on his ar**, while cleaning the leaves up off the porch !!!

I did read up on PSP and it sounds as if it leaves you pretty crook, so l promise l won't be rude about you falling over again.

How you keeping...not heard from you since you accident....are you sure you hadn't had a few cold tinnies before you fell !!!

Best wishes

I agree with the rest about where to get exercise DVDs. If I had a broken toe, I would only hobble about if I had to, not undertake an exercise regime!

Do as Velvet says...... Feet up, tv on, cup of tea & choccie biscuits. Indulge yourself, you have the perfect excuse!

Hope your toe heals soon, take care 🌻

Should have said in my first reply to try doing yoga. You can get classes on you tube. My (soon to be) stepson and his partner are yoga teachers and they said to get a class on you tube doing sun salutations - haven't got around to it yet as so busy I am going to meet myself coming back the other way soon! We were going to join a yoga beginners class but can't find one in our area. I am assured that e yoga will help with breathing and give gentle exercise.

All the best
