Hello!

Our BLF Big Breakfast fundraising campaign is kicking off this November and all around the country Breathe Easy groups, health care professionals, people with lung conditions and other supporters of the BLF are taking part by either hosting their own Big Breakfast or holding a breakfast themed event!

Lisa, who is living with severe brittle asthma and COPD held a fantastic Big Breakfast event last year at home, inviting friends and family round to tuck into an array of breakfast treats and raised over £75 – she’s already planning her events for this year.

“Being housebound makes me feel very excluded from social gatherings. The BLF Big Breakfast helped me to feel part of the ‘group’ again as well as raising funds for this fantastic charity!”

Health care professionals like Juliet, who works on the Pulmonary Rehab team and works closely with the local BLF Breathe Easy group, will be holding two events again this year; one for staff and one for patients in the pulmonary rehab class.

Of her Big Breakfast event in 2014 Juliet said “Everyone really enjoyed our Big Breakfast events and people are already asking when we are going to organise the next one. I’d definitely recommend getting involved; it’s fun and the BLF will support you with everything you need!”

If you’re encouraged by these stories and would like to either hold your own Big Breakfast this November, or perhaps you know someone who might, please follow the link below and request your own Big Breakfast 2015 pack, we’d love to hear from you!

Thank you,

Magid – Community Fundraising Officer, BLF
