Due to a change of pills, radio therapy and a million other things, I have had a problem for a few months which has never happened to me before.....Constipation......Been going to the GP for a while, tried pills, natural stuff and as I told him, those suppositories, I might as well have shoved them up my bum for all the good they did. Back again today...He asked me if I had ever heard the term "feacel compaction"?

I said "Oh yes, brilliant film. I think Glen close was in it"....he said "Next".

Thanks Al but at the moment I don't need any thing to help give me constipation, it's the eviction I need. "Better an empty house than a bad lodger".

I've tried that but just got a head ache. My little grand son, after watching a wild life documentary, always says "I'm pushing a goat out...."

I just read to try prunes, apples or apricots. Also sprinkle flaxseed on cereal. Another idea is sugarless gum.

Seems everyone is joking. Guess I didn't get it. Hahaha

Quarter pineapple juiced.

Plus eating chocolate.

All the pills drinks etc hospital gave me didn't work.

Probably an unnecessary reminder, but hope you are drinking enough water Brian. :)

4 litres a day, every day. Stops me getting gung on my chest. Before that, I could cough up enough gung to wall paper a three bedroom detached house.

I think I've stumbled across a cure......let my missus drive on the motorway. She said " Can you smell poo?" I said "Smell it, I'm sat in it."

Try porridge oats and oat bran too - lots of soluble fibre which is kinder to the system than wheat bran and doesn't strip out the calcium as much.

Porridge oats/ Porridge oats? I didn't fight and claw myself to the top of the food chain to eat porridge oats........I'm ok now. All is back in order......back to opening my bowels at 7am sharp every morning. Not to self: Change the time of the alarm clock or else you will have to change the sheets, again....
