COPD research in Derbyshire

I’ve been approached by a postgraduate research student, Karen, at Keele University. She is doing a research project into the ways in which men in semi-rural towns, aged 55 and over, look after themselves when they are diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

The study will take the form of one to one interviews, which will last approximately one hour and be tape recorded.

Karen has asked for my help finding people who fit the criteria mentioned above and live within travelling distance from Buxton who might be interested in taking part in this study.

If you would like to help then please have a contact Karen by emailing k.r.wild@keele.ac.uk or by calling 07598 765 927. She will be able to give you more information.

Thanks for reading guys!
