Picture taken on weekend break. Our touring caravan had a close encounter with corner of a barn. Our insurance were brilliant. Arranged for van to be taken to Crossleys near Lancaster. You really wouldn't know. Whole new side on it. We picked up van on the Friday and had an impromptu holiday in Morecambe. Back home on the Sunday.

Oh thanks I thought it was a bit of an unusual background- love the pic of you though. Glad to hear your caravan was fixed and you got a bit of a change of scenery and by the sounds of it a good break after all. Best wishesxxx

Hi Minky, lovely smile,is that because your sitting in a pub and have been doing a bit of quality control?lol We can always do with more cheerful folk on our fantastic forum,I'm sure you,ll fit just fine.Welcome! D. 💐

I have asthma. Had to push my then GPs for a test. Short of breath after severe bronchitis, there was definitely something wrong. Test showed marginally COPD. Tested again, on the right side for asthma with lungs working at 40%.

So, first in family history with asthma of any kind. It's been a learning curve. Mine is cough variant and do wonder if, given the symptoms, I've had it since my fifties but no-one's taken asthma into account because I never wheeze.

Changed GP practice when the asthma nurse threw up her hands and told me there was nothing else she could do for me, that referral to hospital consultation would tell me the same.

New lot are nicer and have a wheen of medicines and inhalers to offer. Currently working my way through them.

Ps Quality control? Pint of Pepsi with ice for a warm day. Long walk back to caravan site. 😀
