jet on the day we first got him age 8 weeks with our other lab honey she is an old girl now we think she is about 10years she was a rescue dog so not 100% sure think she got a bit of copd as she only walk alittle way and is huffing and puffing you might not be able to see her but you can hear her lol we make a good pair on our walks .

yea they really are big part of the family and they make us get exercise when on some days we wouldn't bother if we didn't have them . we had a black lab put down a couple of months ago he was 13 and it was heart braking at the time but he was a resue dog too and he was about 2 when we got him he had been so ill treated but we knew he had a good happy 11 years with us

And garden , I would have lots of animals, but I have an

Apartment, they give us such joy. Enjoy them.

we aren't rich lol but do have nice size garden and we have the 2 dogs 8 chickens fish in a small pond and our youngest has a hamster I worked as a Shepard and also looked after cattle most of my life from a small child really until I had to give up work for health reasons I don't really miss it

If she's an older lab it could be a little arthritis due to extra weight and age. She looks healthy and a good weight though! Have a word with the vets & nurses, theres lot of great medications and herbal remedies for arthritis!

thanks yes will have a word with vet but she had check up few months ago and they said she was ideal weight and heart and every thing was healthy but yes I think she has got a bit of arthritis she gets very stiff at times and legs are little shaky at times too just started giving her the pedigree joint care pluss sticks reviews was good on them so see if they help her

This is what I give and have always given my older dogs,and it works,it takes time to show results but it works.

Beautiful dogs. My cross Labrador, Max, lived to 11 yrs old but the last 2 years he was in a lot of pain with arthritis.

PDSA were brilliant with him and gave a new lease of life for a good while with steroids and pain killers but, as soon as they stopped the pills, he went down hill quickly.

We used to have to carry him to bed and lift him on it. In the end, we had to have him put down because he was suffering.

I've had dogs all my life and have another one now but, I'll never love another dog the way I loved him.

Yes I agree,I loved my beautiful Shiba Inu,he was my soul baby.I still shed tears for him even now it has been seven yrs since he went to Rainbow Bridge.

They are gorgeous. I expect the puppy is a lovely companion for Honey. honey has a good figure, she looks magnificent for a 10 year old.

My old Jack Russell wheezed when she got old, she lived to be 18½ years.

I had a black male lab and yellow female lab we lost them early this year they grew up together only 9 months between them I hope you enjoy the new puppy
