There's always a spare oxygen cylinder in the car...a just in case precaution...I'd actually used that one and didn't have any-more from Baywater so Himself said he'd put the one from British oxygen in the car just for today.
It's totally empty.
The needle is well over the red.
We hadn't bothered to look at it when that dozy lad brought Attila out...he left the spare ambulant tank on the floor and Himself had put it in the barn...
Not only was it completely empty but in the side pocket of the cover there was a hospital wrist band from the last person to use it...complete with her name, date of birth etc.
In the pocket on the opposite side was a screwed up paper hankie and a used sticking plaster.
I haven't 'phoned British Oxygen yet...mainly because we went out for the afternoon, but also because I really do need to think about it first rather than simply go off the deep end.
We took Attila out instead...it sat on the back seat making a horrible racket.
