'BOOP'
I just wrote my entire story and it was gone, what is up with that?
December 2014 I had bronchitis that turned into Pneumonia, after being on antibiotics and steroids on and off until April. I was sent to a Pulmonologist and he ordered an x-ray that showed some thickening in both my lungs. After a Bronchoscopy and biopsy he said that I had 'BOOP' a type of pneumonia that no longer can be treated with antibiotics, only Steroids. Luckily my lungs do NOT have scar tissue and I should have a full recovery in time. This could take 6 months or more.
My pulse ox is very low without oxygen.
No oxygen: Doing laundry 84 / 106
No oxygen: Sitting still 10min after 96 / 80
With oxygen: Sitting still 98 / 77
With oxygen: Standing (4min) brushing my teeth 94 / 104
With oxygen: Doing laundry (6min) 94 / 91
Yes oxygen has helped but I still be terrible, I am unsteady and shaky. My feet, hands legs are tingly and I think that I could pass out any moment when I don't have the oxygen on. Not to mention my vision is so blurry, I have got to get new glasses. I have been told to wait until all this clears up to get new glasses. So blurry it is.
With my oxygen numbers. How do I exercise? I don't have the energy, I think I am doing well when I can stand at the sink and do dishes. Of course I have to go sit down a couple of times to take a break. But my husband thinks that with my lack of movement not to mention the wonderful side effect of the prednisone, I am quite a bit puffy. Any advise.........
