Apparently the elusive battery will be delivered tomorrow by courier...I managed to speak to yet another human and repeated the entire story yet again...asked...on Malachi's advice... for a spare battery and was greeted by shock horror.
So, I shall wait and see if a man in a white van turns up clutching the long-awaited battery...with no spare 'cos that's not allowed.
Malachi came this morning with the ambulant oxygen...and if you're confused, imagine how I feel...he was aghast at my having been left so long with the useless Eclipse and exceedingly puzzled as to why Baywater hadn't supplied it...
Glad to hear this, Vashti, people playing fast and loose with other's need is just not on. Just to recap what I wrote yesterday, my preventive inhaler jammed last evening, clicked for a dose several times until there were only 3 left, I need 2 each day and called our emergency number. No press 1 for Incontinence or 2 for Memory Loss, straight through to a triage nurse, explained, call from a Doctor to say prescription sent electronically to nearest pharmacy and it was collected by my daughter after work. Phew!! sorted. Will live!
It sounds ast though your batteries cost the earth not to give a spare.Happy shopping dear one, Polly4 acre
So pleased you got your ambulant oxygen. Now you can have a nice trip to Tesco. I have rediscovered the art of making a list. I got fed up with finding duplicate items and running out of other things.
