I am wanting to wishing you all a lovely relaxing and most of all a Safe Bank Holiday...Two bits good news for me...since this last exacerbation..my 8th since Christmas.. My Dr gave me a change of inhalers... I am now taking SYMBICORT...Which really does seem to be working... i know its early days yet.. and i have seen it said in here how some of you have found it helpful.." Fingers crossed "....But i do seem less outta puff.......AND!!...my other good news is...Cherie!!...is flying through the air as i am typing this to you....she will be staying with me for a whole week..YEAH!!!..High Five!.. xx Megan."

Omg. Your on cloud nine!!!whoooho. I can see who is going to have a amazing w/end.im so happy for you, remember to relax,no stress. I have been on symbicort I found it very effective , but now I'm on Fostair as it reaches further into my lungs , it is good to change inhalors., although I need oxy now ,but they are being mean to me,I argued with them as they were lying to me and I hate lies. I have an inhalor and car, so I use up one inhalor to get to my car,then I will be tel. 111 to get back into my house. Bloody stupid!!! I will keep up the pressure on them .so. Will still have a great w/ end,go to the beach. Good luck. Bonnie xx

Symbicot has helped me a lot meg and does that mean we will be having love poems on the forum hahaha x x

" Thank you for your lovely post Jean....Yes!.. since i have been taking symbicort my breathing is so much better, which as been so good and as enabled me to go out most days which as allowed me to show Cherie a few sight seeing places in Birmingham... And a beautiful days Cruise up the great canals that we have here in the Midlands....Something I haven't done in years. it as been so lovely being out and about again after so long....Cherie flew back yesterday to California....But! ....She soon will be here for good.. i am so excited....thank you both for your kind thoughts and words...Hoping your still improving Jean...love back to you both.....Megan."

Great news that Cherie will be here for good soon, how wonderful.

Canals: i remember playing on the banks up and down the grand union as a child. We lived on the edge of Knowle on the Kenilworth road, just down the road from the canal and it feels part of my history. Then early on when i was first in london i lived on a boat moored just near to where the grand union comes out into the thames. Ah memories!

I bet Cherie loves Bourneville, pretty different to California.
