I got my times mixed up good thing I checked my x ray is at the local hospital and is not till 1145 today I got mixed up with the next appointment which is next Wednesday, that's the trouble with having so many different appointments all coming around the same time or that's my excuse and I am sticking to it. Not to cold this morning but a bit over cast out there but still dry so that's a bonus as they gave rain maybe that will appear later as there are a load of seagulls flying around outside make rather a lot of noise and we only get them here (I am about a mile up the hill from the sea) when the weather is blowing up a bit.
There were these 3 men an Irishman a Mexican and a blonde guy and they were working on scaffolding 20 floors up on a high rise block of offices. It was lunch time and the Irishman said "Not corn beef and cabbage sandwiches again, one more time and I am going to jump off this building. The Mexican opened his lunch box "Oh no not Burritos again If I get Burritos again I am also going to jump". then the blonde guy looked at his lunch and saw it was cheese and onion sandwiches and shouted "I am fed up with this same old thing every day I will jump as well if I get them again".
The next day it was lunch time the Irishman opened his box saw the corn beef and cabbage and jumped off the scaffolding. Then the Mexican saw he had Burritos and also jumped, the blonde guy shouted oh no not cheese and onion again and stood up and jumped.
At the funeral the three wives were talking, the Irishman's wife said if I had known he hated Corn beef and cabbage I would have changed it. The Mexicans wife also said if she had only known he did not like Burritos she also would have packed some thing else.
They both then turned and looked at the blonde guys wife, who said "Its no good looking at me (Wait for it folks)
He made his own lunch."

thats a funny one, thanks Fred. got up late this morning, so better get on with the day and stop reading all these interesting posts. Had a lazy day yesterday so why I slept late I dont know. Hope the xray goes well. Love Iris x

Morning Fred, I know what u mean about appointments, I have mine, my hubbies, and my kids all coming in and instead of doing the obvious thing and put them in a calendar, I read them , put them in the cupboard and then run round like a headless chicken cuz I forgot who'd got what 😜😳
Good morning Fred, I also have a lot of different hospital appointments but I write them on my calendar when they arrive and file them in a folder. Sorry can't help being a goody, goody two shoes! Its overcast this morning in Manchester but the forecast promises a good day on Monday. Thanks for the joke.
Mandy I had a chalk board in the kitchen with all my dates on it, right from the start of my cancer, but after a while my Granddaughter asked if I would not put them up as it reminded her seeing all the dates about my cancer, so I stopped doing it as I do not want her upset, silly old granddad but thats me.
Thanks for the laugh this morning. Good one lol I know how you feel with multiple appointments and getting all mixed up, and I have to book patient transport for them as well, causing more confusion for the controller if they are at different hospitals, in different departments at different times. lol The crew turned up one day having been given the wrong information, but it worked out okay in the end.
Its lovely and sunny again today, so hoping to try and get out for a bit later on, once the nurse has been.

Morning Fred, made me laugh this morning, it is sunny here but a bit windy.
I get sent a txt by the NHS 24hours before my next appointment, whether it be at the Doctors, Respiratory nurse or for anything else to do with the NHS.
It keeps me on the straight and narrow, I was always getting them wrong before.

I was really like one of our stories today , firstly I got the time mixed up then I the garage time had to be changes as it was due in after my trip to the hospital, but that had to change as I needed it to get there at the correct time, arrived on time and no where to park so had to park way away then move my butt to arrive on time. Called in for X ray detailed checked and laid out and position correctly breath in hold done, then she positioned me in another position breath in , nothing , the machine not working, switches it off/on kicks it then try's again still no joy, all this time I am stuck in this awkward position , several more try's then told sorry we will have to get you back at a later date, at least they got one picture that's alright, pleased it was not me that had to tell the other people their appointments were cancelled. Good news car now working a treat all for only HOW MUCH . xxx

Morning Ruby appointment was a laugh the X Ray broke after the first shot of my body, I never realized I had that effect on machines or was it the effect I had on the female radiographer lol any way have to go back later. My girls are fine except Kate and she is the best she can be at the moment as there is no cure for her illness but she is a fighter. Stay happy xxxLove Fred
