I've just joined this site & I wanted to give a quick introduction & say hello to you all.

My name is Abi, I'm 21 & I have asthma.

Thank you for the welcome, Margaret! Actually, where I live, it's just come into Autumn. The cold weather definitely causes the asthma to act up. But yes, pollen and anything flowering always makes it worse.

Lovely to meet you but sorry to hear you have asthma. Hope you enjoy the site - lovely kind supportive members and you can always contact the BLF nurses if you need to.

I am a good bit older than you sweet and was dx with asthma a few years ago but have had bronchiectasis since babyhood, so can't remember a life without lung problems.

Which country are you from hun? We are hoping for a lovely summer here in the UK.

Welcome Abi, it is lovely to meet you. My two daughter have Asthma. The youngest has it worst. She has had a nasty chest infection that is taking ages to clear up.

I expect you have to avoid polluted areas and keep warm. I have been told the air quality is worst early in the morning and at dusk.

I hope you will enjoy this site, there are so many interesting people here. The humour section is very good and we all look forward to Vashti's daily essays.
