Hi there every one, it really is rather chilly this morning not that I have ventured out yet as its only just after six, but I have this problem once I wake up that's it I just can not lie there thinking of England I have to get up and get moving, anyone else find this ? Today is my eldest daughters birthday, and my granddaughter is going to do a BBQ for us all this evening, and when she does it, well its not just a standard type she does all the trimmings there is not a sausage in sight, so I will go down to help her set every thing up as the garden table and chairs etc are still stowed away so we will need to get that sorted, all we want then is the sunshine, which looking out the window I can see a couple of rays poking through..
Seeing its Sunday I thought I would give the blondes a lie in.
A little boy came across the old large family bible, and having been a couple of times to Sunday school and listened to the stories, he decided to have a look at the book and was fascinated by the lovely old pages. As he was looking through something fell out from the pages, he picked it up and found that it was an old leaf that had been pressed between the pages.
" Mum look what I found in the bible" he shouted.
" What is it dear" his mother asked.
With astonishment in his voice the young lad answered "I think its Adams underwear."

lol lol Good joke. Its a bit chilly here too but the sun is coming out so its going to be a good day. I have been out already feeding the birds but was glad to get back inside. lol

Thanks for that love I will give her your wishes. its still a bit cold but the sun is in full swing now so fingers crossed. Kate is a lovely daughter and has done a wonderful job bringing up Hannah on her own from the age of eight which was when Anthony died and she Hannah is a lovely young lady now as well. I wish Deborah was able to be down with us today as well but she is stuck up there in Southampton and her car is in the garage for repairs, but I know she will ring us later. Keep that lovely smile going and you will have to pull the wish bone on your own, and I hope it works for you. xxx

You have me thinking now Fred, I have noticed that the salutes are different but will have to get a British and a USA war film on to see if they do the same < or do you know ?
I am not sure about the American services I have a feeling they all salute the same, where as Like I said the Naval salute was changed for the navy by the Queen of the day..xxx

You so remind me of my dad. Not your age, your personality. He was quite the ladies man. Liked the younger women. Always flirting with the nuses and teasing them. Holding their hands. The biggest smile on his face. You would have liked him alot Fred. You just put me in mind of him. Flirty and fun and the best smile in the world.
Ruby me a flirt well I never, ok yes I like to flirt which I don't believe does any harm, but I would more that likely run a mile if any of the ladies responded, but yes I do like the female company , it could be that I was locked up for months at a time in a submarine with all male company. Dont know where my head is this morning but wish your daughter a lovely birthday please and for gods sake please watch that bbq as the last time i was at one three weeks ago and got a few whiffs of the smoke from it and it near did me in, first time this has happened but i will sit well away from it in future xxx
I will take note of what you say wabbit but Hannah has a gas one so no charcoal smells I am pleased to say, in fact this one does every thing but sing and dance. Now have you found where your head is, have a look under the pillow. xxx
Fred its my grandsons fault Honest He is 18 two weeks ago and he works Tue through Sun but Tue through Frid he works 6am-4pm Sat and Sun he starts at 4am and gets finished around 9am he loves a Mon when he gets to leave the house at 8am for college and my alarm clock don't know whether it is on this earth or fullers earth , some mornings i am like the alarm clock, and please dont say like a lot of my family Let Him get up himself and make his own brekky cause if I was working 50 hours a week and 8 hours at college I would be wanting a wee bit of pampering lol Bless him he has me demented hahaha xxxx
No I wont say that, I will and did things for my girls and as for Hannah granddaughter I would walk on glass if I thought she needed me to and it would help her, than I would. xxxxx

Its really warming up now as its getting on for 11 as I have been catching up on some little jobs I had put on hold but all done now, mind you this house like lots of others, like the fourth road bridge its never finished, but it keeps me occupied. Enjoy the chicken Margaret. xxx

Hi there Sheila pleased I am not alone at that time. I seem to be stuck with time, could be because I spent so many years watch keeping with the navy then the police, I thought I would have grown out of it after being retired a good few years like I am now. Hope you have/having a good day xxx
