Roses definitely! What's new is that I am taking my cat to the vets tomorrow to be done and have just given him his last meal. Poor cat he doesn't know what he is in for...If he did he wouldn't be sitting half on my knee and half on the lappy purring away. :) x

Roses are one of my favorites

also. Your lucky you have a male cat. Its really easy for them. Will he be staying the night there?

Whats your kittys name?

😊😊

Hi Ruby he is male. I pick him up at 4.30 tonight. Just put a post up about it. Thanks for asking.

He is called Breeze after Chris (Homebreeze) on here who died last year. x

I would love a garden full of flowers but im flowerless ...i even considered filling it with plastic ones last year :)

I like all sorts Ruby. Lobelia, petunia, jasmine, roses, honeysuckle....I have a little wooden wishing well that my dear hubby built for me about 5 years ago and I fill it with flowers during the summer, it looks so pretty.

I had a photoshoot on the weekend with 4 gorgeous children. Then I had a new boiler fitted. :-) xxx

Will you be showing us your wishing well in full bloom? I bet you have a green thumb for sure! I love honeysuckle to. It smells so sweet!

Depends how pretty it looks Ruby...if the weather stays like this (blowing gales and tipping down with rain) It's going to look a mess. lol...lol :-) xxx

Hi Ruby, I had lots of visits at home, then did some pruning of plants in the garden, thinking of when it will all grow in when the weather warms up.

What vegetables to plant? Have to be easy to grow, I'm not very skilled at this :)

Tulips are a favourite flower so i must plant some bulbs. Irises too and clematis almondi, that's the winter flowering ones that smell of almonds. Statuesque artichoke leaves of pale, pale green colour.

Also looking forward to getting into my studio shed when I'm a bit better.

Hope everyone doing ok :) :)

Hi O2

Good to see your feeling so well.

Your sounding really ambitious!

Thats what I like to see, our O2 feeling like her self again. Tulips

are so pretty. Your all giving me ideas what to plant . Do you like tomatos? Nice fresh fron the garden on a sandwich. Be interested to know what you plant.

I'll tell you when i know Ruby. I adore tomatoes but they are a reflux trigger for me so no more :( I may grow some for Rita if i can make myself be generous ;)

My voice has gone again but not laryngitis, never was before, just reflux getting at my vocal chords, such a bummer as i have so much to say :D

hi, the weather is cold, wet & windy but the garden is full of daffodils, Hyacynths, polyanthus & even a few violets & pretty blue sparaxis.

Summer flowers i find difficult to name a favourite but perfumed roses are near the top, lily of the valley, Agapanthus. I love perfume in the garden but find perfumes, aftershaves or scents difficult to handle.i hope the photoshoot went well. Love Margaret x

Hi margaret

Photoshoot went ok. Took forever. Daffodils are really nice. One of my favorites. Do you guys get your license renewed every 4 yrs? Do you plant vegetables? Theres nothing like fresh veggies right from the garden!

Morning Bulpit

Daffodil s are lovely. I just love to go to the nursrey and pick out flowers. We always go to the big flower show and see all these unusual plants. Ones I never heard of before.

I'm doing well and working to hard. Just glad I'm able to work. Am cutting back a bit. Don't have any free time for anything.

You take care Bulpit

Miss Ruby 😊 😊 xx

Good evening, Ruby

A quiet weekend ordering paperbacks on eBay. Got into a bit of a swing and am now expecting delivery of about 200 thrillers, etc., over the next few days.

About 13 years ago when we were house-hunting on the IOW, we found the ideal place after one year - altogether about a dozen weekend trips from London - which we thought was ideal, We'd been looking for a place with a pool (me) and a garden (the Boss) and the ideal place had neither! But it did have beautiful views over a few rolling meadows and fishpond with large carp, plus I can see the Channel from every window. Oh, and the access was up three ramps!

We agreed that we would leave it for the time we were going to be weekending or holidays at home, but if we fitted in, and we got on with the locals, we'd retire here, refurbishing the place. We now have a 70m2 deck, with potted flowers around, and a lift on one side and stairs on the other. The view from my office window means I don't get much work done unless I close the shutters. All the cruise liners and ferries, cargo

ships, tankers, container and car carriers. It's busy days and night ! Just as well, as I was a shipmaster in my old life.

..... which kinda let's me get around to saying that I like pretty flowers, but I would rather look at trees, Across the road I have trees and around the deck I have lemon, kumquat and orange bushes, plus 2 small olive trees. The herb beds look good and the courgettes taste terrific. Luckily the gardener is unsalaried - only need hugs, trinkets and 2 or 3 overseas trips a year!

Enjoy the Spring
