Steroid inhalers

I'm using steroid inhalers,symbicort and sometimes seritide and I'm finding I can't smell and taste anything after using them.I rinse my mouth just after using them but to no avail does me anygood. Please help,my food is dead to me.

I was wondering do you have Asthma? My daughter and partner do and they've both lost their sense of smell, these inhalers can have some very negative effects. Can you use a spacer, they might help, sorry can't be more helpful, huff xxx

As long the inhalors work ,that's the important thing ,yea it's the steroid in them? I LOST MY APPETITE 2 yrs ago ,sometimes there is mouth infection ,not rinsing mouth out after,that may help.so it's making the most out of everything.all pharmacuticals have a negative side effect.!!! Side effects are worse sometimes ,what's the option when western people will not acknowledge natural meds.its discusting the way things are,pharmacuticals can be deadly!!!

You need to use a spacer I was having same problem after I started useing spacer with inhaler I soon got my sense of smell and taste back

That's moderate compared to the black-outs I got from Beclomethasone - bit.ly/salamol

I use the Spacer now and I give a myself a good gargle with water after using Seretide. I do lose my voice though very now and again :(
