I think it will be people with higher wages that this will apply ,I know someone earning 65 thousand a year who gets full amount dla because of his disability but still manages too work ,there will be people earning more than that

Don't think they tax people who are already claiming might happen to new claimants this is what happend when they started taxing incapacity benifits those already claiming didn't have to pay tax but new claimants did

You want to bet Newlands? They might start with the richest folk but it would then trickle down to the poorer ones. We all have to get out and vote to stop this happening. x

100% agree with you, as i doubt that theres enough so called richer people & it will come down to taxing the masses.

I saw item on the news and my heart sank. Already struggling to pay bills etc. work part time and CANT do anymore. Hardly do anything on days not at work because so exhausted.....

Really unfair because attacking people who struggle to defend themselves.

Just noticed your post Tigerhouse, did not see the news yesterday, but guess it is one future way the politicians might use to raise revenue. Although I don't agree with this I accept that many other benefits are Taxed including pension that you have worked for all your life. It is a case of if it moves tax it :). As you say god help future generations on low incomes , benefits or wages.

If it was on people that could manage on their on without I see no problem, but to tax a benefit does not make sense?

thank you for putting this link up, it speaks volumes about the tories intentions if they win again, how patronzining of i.d.s to say any additional cuts would be of benefit ! not to any of us here, still we must not forget that they recently awarded themselves a £10,000 per year pay rise, i dont wish people ill by god but in the tories case i'll make an exception.

I know what people mean when they say they will tell us anything until they are back in I remember labour going on about fox hunting they dug up that old chestnut 3 times before the ban on fox hunting but very pleased they found the bottle to do it.

If they tax benefits then you will have to be earning in benefit's above the tax threshold.

I would like to see Ian Duncan Smith on a operating table can't tell you what I would do but him and Mr Brown are one of the same w****rs

a tax on PIP if the Tories get in again? - you are all in cuckoo land - if the Tories get back in there probably won't be any PIP.s to tax - the Tories will scrap it!!!!
