I am writing this as I don't know how long I will be online...all day I've been trying to make it come to life to no avail.

I want everyone who wrote to me know I shall in time answer.

Well now.... have a new computer and enjoy it!! Be interesting to see what you get. I am the proud owner of a Toshiba laptop, a kindle fire sand a ipad which i inherited. Talk about showing off. But then daughter comes in and says the only pc to have is an Apple.x

My Samsung has been good until the past few days.....so now the Apple iPad is one I am looking at.

I just want to be able to come on the computer without being worried when/ if it will crash.

Hi Jolyn yes very frustrating I have been pulling my hair out today, my son said I should think about a new one, this is only 3 years old !!!!!!

we are a throw away race. hope I'm able to stay on for a while, scared It's going to crash..... xxx

Hi Ruby not a great deal of sleep....my CPN said she would talk to my doctor re: sleeping pills.. She got back in touch and said I would be getting them, went out for a meal tonight and had two missed calls, they were from my GP wanting to talk about the pills, ah! well.

My laptop is a Samsung and has been brilliant until now.

It's really that lazy little man inside your computer that is too lazy to do his job anymore! Getting so drunk and fat on all those apps that he's ready to burst and no amount of protection can save him now.

Seriously I'm beginning to think these computers have a shelf life and I'm fed up getting mine overhauled. Saying that it is getting up to four years old. Vintage in computer terms probably. Good luck in your quest for a new one etch!

Hi Sara I've just been saying to Ruby my computer is only 3 years old, for me that's nothing, think you are right when you say about a shelf life....

The lazy little man in mine must be well into the ale.

I shall be looking for a new one as I am unable to relax with this expecting it to crash anytime....Sheila

Bought my granddaughter the Apple iPad she is a special needs girl and she can really navigate it, so I shall have it on my short list.

That is worrying as my lappy is 2 1/2 years old now. It has crashed a few times but I have managed to fix it. I am technologically illiterate but fiddle around and have always managed to get it back ok in the end. My hair is getting fed up with being pulled out though! x

2 1/2 years eh !!the more I think about life spans the I'm convinced they really do make things that wont last.....ploy to make us spend money.....

I am not at all technologically minded, I did go to classes for various things to do with the computer, but not a lot stuck, lol I have to stop pulling hair out, will end up with a bald spot.

hi frustrated when my computer plays up I just turn the power off and take out the battery for a couple of days but put computer back on power after 1 minute this usually solves the problems with it peter jones queensland Australia psp sufferer

Hi peterjones thank you for your message, as I said to coughalot I am not very good with computers, I tend to panic if things go wrong, as for taking the battery out............well I would say HOW and where is it located..lol

Ah the point is Peter I don't have much clue what I am doing so I ask people! The removing the battery is something a friend told me about. Anything else I know has been learned through trial and error and I still don't know very much. x

Hi bulpit, yes sleep is still a problem, the doctor phoned last night wanting to discuss the pills. ( I was out thank goodness ) think he would have tried to talk me out of them.

I'm writing this very slow as I am worried it will crash, it has done twice already, think it will be a new one.....Sheila x

I don't have a laptop and was quite happy for years with the desktop PCs we have at home. In late 2012 I got an Ipad followed by an iPhone for my birthday on January 2012. Now I rarely go near the PC and only rarely yse the laptop. For my everyday requirements like social media, google, taking, storing and sharing photos, I use the phone. Never misbehaves, in as good shape as the day I bought it and used constantly. I now fnd I don't need a laptop at all. Can't beat an iPhone !

I used to have a desktop but the kids talked me into getting the lap top.........

I have a tablet and the Iphone yes I could use the phone instead of my laptop, but I like to see the big screen ( my eyes are not young anymore....)

My desk top was great no problems with it. regards Sheila.
