Weather her in Devon misty and a bit chilly or else its just me being a bit hot blooded.
This youngish lady whose hair was allsorts of colours was driving up to London when she saw a car at the side of the road with a man waving, so being a nice girl she pulled over and asked what the problem was. The man told her he was heading to London and his car has broken down and can not be sorted for several hour, she asked if she could help, he replied I wonder if you would be so kind, I was on my way to take these two chimpanzees to London zoo I will give you £100 if you would do that for me , they are very friendly.
The lady with the funny hair said of course she would, took the chimps hands and sat them in the back of the car and put the seat belts on.
Several hours later the man arrived in London and headed to the zoo, on the way he say the lady walking along holding the hands of the chimps. He went over and said, "What are you doing I asked you to take them to the zoo", "I did" said the lady "and because there was some money left from the £100 we are now going to the fair."
Have a great weekend if possible, I am going to be busy as not only is Kate's bungalow being sorted, I have the workmen coming on Monday to fit a new walk in shower to my bathroom and re tile it, which will take approx three days, but I will miss the last day as that will be Wednesday when I go into hospital, its all fun and games down here.

Thanks Lyn hope you are keeping warm, good job you are still young and able to handle the cold I am not sure if I want to be a star as they only come out at night and I enjoy the sunshine, I could start singing "You are my sunshine my lovely sunshine you make me happy when sky's etc etc

You got it in one softwabbit I am having a foldaway seat fitted and the shower is a double type a fixed head and also a handheld one for reaching other areas Thanks for the wishes xxxxx
Mooskie behave yourself of course it is, but there is only going to be one seat, so bring your own soap on a rope, I am sure its alright but will check with the wife first lol xxx Fred

Thanks Jan, I am that sort that just can not sit around doing nothing, as I an sure that day will come when I have no option, I have always been the same, I believe its my service training from the age of 15 that's to blame.
That's the reason the bath is going and the shower altered, but being in the forces in submarines we never had baths in them so its been showers for years so no problem for me redted.
I think that lady should of been blonde don't you!! It's dull here in stokes bay ,not cold, eclipse won't happen here,hope the air is clearer today,must get me crab on toast for breakfast .enjoy.x
Morning to you Colours I thought I had better not upset the blondes so thought I would leave it to others to make up their own colour. Hope it brightens up for you. Fresh crab will do me anytime, thats one advantage of living by the sea.

Im another one thats not had a bath for years! quite happy so fsr with the shower in the bath, but if this arthritis gets any worse, who knows. Hope all goes well at the hospital. Love Iris x
I got worried when I started to read you statement that you had not had a bath for years, but then followed with a shower lol Yes Iris I saw this walk in one at a friends and thought I really want that as it will be so much easier than climbing in the bath to use the shower, you might have to do like me think ahead love.
You have got me interested now. Can I ask which one your friend had that took your fancy? Just googled them and there seems to be so many. also I suppose it may not be an advantage when selling not to have a bath, but a new buyer would probably want to revamp my bathroom anyway! Ill be past caring by then I daresay"
Iris agree when you sell its up the buyers to sort it out as they want, the only ones I think that would want a bath is if there are small children, but as you say we will be past caring love. xxx

Thanks my lovely huff, no it was to overcast and I shall miss the next one by a good few years mind you I just might have a descent seat on a cloud to view it. Just had a phone call from the plumber to say he will be here at 9 on Monday, so for a couple of days it will be a case of having to have a bird bath, Just like we did in submarines. Thanks Sara shame you still can not get out in the sun, I will be really pleased when the new shower is in and the fold up chair all I will need is a telly built in the wall and I can sit have a shower and watch a film. Was not able to see the eclipse due to overcast and I will not be around for the next one. bye for now.

I am going into the Royal Devon and Exeter its to have a procedure where they go into my lungs and burn the cancer tumours, I had it last year and it means I do not have to keep having chemo, its quite painless and I am only in a couple of days . i have to behave myself within reason as one of my daughters also works there. Where is your daughter nursing love.? xxx
All the very best for Wednesday Fred - assume that's laser treatment you're having - I was pleasantly surprised when I found out it was painless (had been worrying about it for weeks beforehand, and no need) - njoy teasing and flirting with the nurses!! xx
