Had few interactions with alan and like others have said will be deeply missed
Allan may be gone but never forgotten. He has shared some inspirational words with us here.

We all know of the inevitability of the final outcome of our medical problem but it hits us all when we lose a valued membered of our group healing thoughts and prayers go out to eightyplus'es family.
So sorry to hear of Allans passing. He will be missed very much by everyone on this site. His wonderful outlook on life. Many times I would go back and reread his posts.

it is with great sadness i read here, about the passing on of Alan, Having an infection myself at this time, i had not been on the site.

Alan was a popular well thought of gentleman on
