I keep seeing an advert for Aerosure, so I went on Amazon to have a look and I saw Ultrabreathe at a fraction of the price.
My husband has COPD, does anyone know if either of these would help?
Thanks

You can get a powerbreathe medic on the nhs prescription from GP, Also the acapella mucus clearance device,
If your husband has mucus he has to clear, your GP can prescribe a FLUTTER device, free on the NHS. I use one of these but find the instruction leaflet not thorough enough. If your GP can refer your husband to a respiratory nurse she should be able to give you more tips on using it and other ways to help in clearing his lungs.
Don't waste your money on Aerosure. It's just another flutter device and you can get one of those (flutter devices) on the NHS. Gotta laugh at the commercial - if that woman could run like that, she definitely doesn't have COPD! lol
Aerosure is expensive and I have been told - not comfortable to use; also I could not see recommendations from clinical studies or practitioners. You can get the POWERbreathe Medic on prescription from your GP - saves you buying a breathing trainer or look for deals on Amazon.
