Hi,

The last I heard of Laura was approx. a couple of months ago, and at that time was slowly building herself up in the gym ready for surgery, but I have heard of nothing since. I will try and find out more, but it may be difficult. As you will have noticed her profile has disappeared now, but she was exhausted from the gym work and posting less and less. If I hear anything I will let you know.

hugs from Huggs xx :)

Laura and I correspond by email on an ad hoc basis. As of the last we spoke she has no intention of replacing her account.

Laura is fighting infections. Eating lots of steroids and doing as much hospital gym as her lungs, joints, etc can manage.

Laura is very down about the weight the steroid cause. She is awaiting an op to remove a chunk of lung.

I will write this week and pass on your wishes. I am sure they will raise her spirits.

Thank you all.

Hi Rib,

Thanks a lot for that, and would you please pass on my best wishes to Laura and that I am thinking of her. I think she will remember me as we use to communicate by email but gradually lost touch through a combination of reasons. She has great spirit, and is a lovely lady, and wish her well for her op which will improve her quality of life, and unfortunately the steroids are a necessary evil at the moment. she will soon lose the excess weight caused by them, and hopefully knowing that people are thinking about her will boost her.

hugs from Huggs xxx :)
