Hi Everyone,

My apologies if you are all fed up with me just now. lol Another update for you.

Many of you will have noticed that Jimmy hasn't been posting for a wee while.

Firstly, as his health problems are well documented and most of you know him, there is little point in going through is health issues individually, but Jimmy is not well at the moment. He has been getting a day here and there when he is slightly better, but mostly is not well at all. He has yet another chest infection, and is on further antibiotics and steroids. He also has a bladder infection, broken skin with his dreadful itch and is in extreme pain with his foot and leg.

Unfortunately, not much seems to be getting done medically for his foot, so he is understandably very frustrated at his situation, although he has promised to get the Dr back tomorrow.

My apologies Jimmy for this next bit, but I am only saying it for your own good, and that you may listen to others, although you know I understand perfectly well your reasons for not doing what I am about to say.

The doctor wants Jimmy to go into hospital for investigations and treatment and Jimmy doesn't want to

go, for reasons that are understandable, although he may yet come round to that way of thinking.. A few days now might well mean a huge difference to his quality of life, and also having someone around all the time to look after him for a while will help, as it will help his coughing and breathing as well, which is exhausting him too, He needs a lot of rest and even more TLC.

To further cause him problems his computer has broken down and has been offline for almost a week. He hopes to get it back tomorrow or Tuesday, so he hasn't even been able to get distracted by going online. I am hoping when he gets back online he will get a great boost from the replies and that will encourage him a great deal.

Get well soon Jimmy, and we are all rooting for you. Hope you like the picture, I thought it appropriate under the circumstances. lol Hurry back, we miss you and your jokes. Plus, all your detective work is piling up too, and MCO needs you. :d

Take care,

hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Thanks again Huggs for another great update. Wishing you well lovely jimmy and if you have to go into Hospital for a little while then so be it. Think of all those nurses fussing around you - you might even get a bed bath! Just get well soon and how come you are itching? Pete is very itchy too (could be his water tablet) and has nasty patches on his shin and now on his ankle and arm. Honestly you men.

Take care jimmy and thanks again Huggs. xxxxx

  • Hi Sassy,

You are welcome, and thanks again for your message of support. Jimmy has had an extreme itch for a couple of weeks approx., and it is so severe that his leg is now bandaged from top to toe in gauze as his skin is red and bleeding, but the doc is unsure as to the cause. His leg is the worst but the itch is all over. Do forgive us women discussing your itch Jimmy! lol :d

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Thankyou Huggs for letting us know. xxx

  • You are welcome, its no bother.

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Huggs you are a star!!! Thank you for your updates, I think they are brilliant and how else would we know what is happening to our much loved folk! :D ....... Jimmy I have been so concerned about you and what was happening over the maddening itch! I'm so sad you have been having a miserable old time and because I have a hospital phobia I really don't know what to say about that, I just wish I could take care of you, I'd do a fabulous job I promise! Please feel better soon, love and positive thoughts winging their way to you!!!!!! huff xxxxxooooo

  • You are welcome huff and thanks so much for your kind lovely message of support for Jimmy, which I know he will appreciate very much.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Thanks Huggs for the update, your a treasure! Jimmy I'm so sorry you are feeling very much under the weather. I do hope you take the doctors advice and settle in for some TLC which should sort your issues out quicker and by the sound of things you would benefit from some care not to mention breakfast in bed. I loathe hospitals to but sometimes they can get you up and at ém much quicker than if you struggle along at home with more than one infection to deal with. Please please please have Jimmy's computer up and running soon. The contact with your online family would be a comfort I'm sure. Lots of love and hugs Jimmy xxx Suz

  • Thank you Suz, and you are welcome. Thanks a lot for your lovely supportive message for Jimmy which I hope he will see for himself soon.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Nobody could get annoyed with u MB, ur so caring and thoughtful, even with ur own genuine health issues, ur always there for everyone, as for jimmy I know it's hard going into hospital but if it will help then it's a good thing and I'm sure u can play the nurses up jimmy. • aww thank you BB2, that is kind of you. Thanks also for your message of support for Jimmy which he will appreciate very much when he reads it for himself.

    Take care,

  • Hope you get well soon Jim Boy take it from me please reconsider about not going into hospital I tried to fight pneumonia on my own with home oxygen not a chance as my health deteriorated and much honking (where it came from I don't know) I was in near respiratory arrest when they finally took me in to hospital. I know a lot of us who have lived alone have this independence streak in us so come on Jimmy for your family on HU please give a deep thought and go.

And Huggs no I will never get fed up of you keeping us posted on other health users on this site you do an admiral service well done.

  • Hi ant,

Thanks for your heartfelt plea for Jimmy to go into hospital. I know he is going to murder me ( he will have to catch me first though. lol) for telling everyone but hope that he listens to people like you who have been through the worst of times. So pleased that you are recovering ant, but sorry you had to go through all that. I think that all happened when I was offline for a while.

Thanks also for your kind words for me which are appreciated.

    You take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • You are welcome huggs I think on this site we are all one big happy family as such and if we cannot help each other along then it is a sad world as I previously said you do a wonderful job of acting as go between for some of us members.

  • Hi ant,

Thanks again, and sorry for delay in replying, but have been on the mainland most of the day, so have started again on replying. I agree with you that we are a big happy family, and we all do our bit at helping when we can, and that is what makes the forum the happy place it is.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Poor bugger wel you tell him to get all help he can to help him get that foo seen to asp rest get wel soon hope see you back on here soon jimmy we thinking of yer pal :-)

  • Hi England,

Thanks for your support for Jimmy, that is very nice of you, and take care of yourself too.

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Huggs you are so kind of course we never get fed up with you, how would we be able to send our good wishes to jimmy if you had not told us.

Jimmy think about your health long term, just a short stay in hospital could mean such a difference to you for the Spring and Summer months ahead, you will be looked after by all of those lovely nurses, and fed 3 times a day I know its not ideal but it must be better than how you are suffering at the moment..

Hope that computer will be mended very soon.

Please give it some serious thought, lots of people on here included me thinking of you and sending you our best wishes.

    Take care.

    polly xx

  • Hi Polly,

I hope Jimmy listens to you and the others, as he is really just treading water just now and not getting anywhere fast, and I do understand his reasons for not wanting to go to hospital, as I am exactly the same, but he is much worse than me and needs more help, but I think he is gradually coming round to the idea, and maybe when he sees all the messages saying the same thing, it will help him to make the right decision. So thanks for your message, and also for your nice words. Thanks again.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Hope you and the computer get well soon Jimmy and well done to you Huggs it just shows hugs do the trick xx :)

  • Thank you Fred, and I know Jimmy will appreciate your get well wishes.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Sending healing prayers to Jimmy and hope he changes his mind to do what the doctors order. I know we all like to be at home but if needs must then it will do him good. Huge hugs to Jimmy and huge huggs to you too huggs. :-)

  • Hi Lyn,

Thanks vey much for your message of support for Jimmy, which he will be very grateful for.

    Appreciate the hugs too.!

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Yes Huggs you are a star to keep us updated on Jimmy and I can't imagine anyone being fed up with you!

Hi Jimmy. I'm so sorry you are are in such misery and I too urge you to listen to Huggs. She makes good sense. I feel like you do about hospitals but your situation is very different from last time you went into hospital. You especially need more help with that leg and foot pain until they get the cause sorted out for you. Also they can do a thorough investigation into your recurring chest infections and do something about it. I hope you get your laptop back soon Jimmy so that you can read all our messages. Till then take care of yourself as best as you can. Sending all good wishes to you.

    Love Sara xxxx

  • Hi Sara,

Thanks for your kind words for me, and you are welcome. Its no bother.

I am hoping Jimmy will see all your messages soon and that will help him decide to go into hospital, as he really needs to for his own sake. Thanks again for your supportive message.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Oh jimmy, jimmy. please listen to everyone on here, if you need hospital, and I'm sure you do, huggs wouldn't suggest it, knowing how much to try to avoid it. We all miss you so much and I want to see my "wee jovial jock" back on here making us all smile and giving us the tonic of good jokes. Please take good care of yourself and get well soon xxxx

  • Hi Suzy,

I told Jimmy you were asking for him, and he is asking after you too. Thanks for your lovely supportive message, which Jimmy will be very grateful for when he manages to get online again. I think we are all missing his jokes.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • I did wonder where you were Jimmy. I am so sorry to hear of your health worries and hope you manage to get your computer done and get back to us. Take care. Thanks for letting us know Huggs. x

  • Of course we are not fed up with you Huggs. It's all that missing squirrel's fault; he is surely regretting his sharp teeth chewing through the Broadband.

Thanks for the update, I had been wondering about Jimmy. Please Jimmy, no one likes being in hospital but do give the hospital a chance to make things better for you.

I am trying to make you smile, amid all that itch, so I'll tell you a secret story. When I was 7, I was in hospital a couple of months with Scarlet fever; I did a most naughty thing; I caught a frog on the veranda & released it into the ward. It made the Nurses squeal & me giggle. Hush, it's a secret, Apart from frogs what mischief could you do? Get better soon Jimmy.

    Love Margaret x

  • Hi Margaret,

lol at squirrel. I must tell him that,. ha ha.. Thanks for your words of support for Jimmy and I know he will be very grateful for them.

Good idea, ... making him think what mischief he could get up to! lol

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • He can get hold of a squirrel! Don't get him started Scorpiolass! Jimmy is a dad hand with squirrels!

  • That was supposed to read 'dab hand'!

  • Hi Coughalot,

Thanks again for your message of support and hope all is well with you too.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xx :)

  • please pass on to Jimmy that I feel its now best to go to hospital where they can see what he has to endure and start to put things right. Whilst he is at home its all been a bit piece meal but in hospital they will be able to see all the problems - please pass on mine and squirrels love and thank you so much huggs for your kind caring soul xxxxxxx

  • Hi eyes,

You and I are in total agreement with what you have just said, and others too. I will certainly pass on your love and good wishes, along with squirrels, but hope he will be able to read them for himself soon.

Thanks for your kind words and you are welcome.

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • I do hope he sees that its the very best way to start getting to the bottom of things and start to get things right for him xxxx

  • Hi eyes,

I hope he does too, and will be trying to contact him again later tonight. I couldn't get hold of him yesterday, and have been on the mainland today, so I am now just getting back into replying again. Thanks again, and if I get Jimmy, I am going to read out every single message to him.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • thank you so much :) and you look after you too xxx

  • Hi eyes,

You are welcome, and my apologies for the late reply. I did speak to Jimmy on Monday night, and he said he was a little better. I read out a lot of the messages to him and he was very grateful, and said he would get the DR out if he didn't improve...but............?

I am hoping once he gets online and sees all the messages, it will encourage him, although he has also said he will know himself when it is time to go in. I have done that myself, kept talking myself out of it and regretted it. If his infections issues were brought under control, then that at least would be a start, as oral antibiotics are not doing him any good at all.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • well its good to know he as the second sight then Huggs

quote "he will know himself when it is time to go in"

Are ALL men stubborn buggers eh ? :X

Hope you are doing ok lass :) xxxxx

  • I think so eyes, especially Scottish ones called Jimmy.

I told him you said I was always right, and he agreed with me, so I am more worried now. lol

I will try and contact him tonight, and see how he is doing now.

I am fine thanks eyes, just the usual ups and downs that we all have, and a lot better than most. Hope you are doing okay too, and managing to get out and taking great photos.

hugs from Huggs xxx :) ps I will pass on your further messages to Jimmy.

  • thanks hun your a true Star :) hope to have a pic of 2 squirrels to post :) for the Squirrel bunch.

  • Hi eyes,

What a bother I have had replying to you post. I have emailed you. Looking forward to seeing the squirrels.

You are welcome and take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Please take notice of your friends on this site jimmy go to hospital

and get well soon want to see you back on here I miss the jokes.

  • Hi jojo,

Thanks for your message to Jimmy, which I know he will be very grateful for.

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Aw poor Jimmy, I am keeping him in my prayers and sending him many get well wishes!

I know how hard it can be to go into hospital, i have a huge phobia of staying in hospital, and went through an awful stage of having to be in a week or so every month for almost a year with breathing issues, and in fairness I found it so hard to say the very least!

But I do know one thing... The respiratory team were completely amazing, they took all my fears Into account and did everything they could to make me better. I couldn't have asked for better care.

They still look after my care as an outpatient and I still can't fault them whatsoever!

I believe that any hospital will have the same kind of team, as respiratory is a tough job to do, and they wouldn't do the Job if they didn't seriously care and want to help.

I hope you find it in you to trust them and let them help you get better, they will speed your recovery up and you will be back making us all smile with your jokes in no time at all!!

Take care of yourself and I hope you are feeling better soon xxxx

  • Hi Charley,

Thanks for your supportive message for Jimmy, which he will appreciate very much. If he isn't online yet I will read out all the messages for him, so he can see how much we all care about him and also to let him realise that everyone is saying the same thing about going into hospital. I too am phobic about being an inpatient, and usually call it, 'going inside' but the staff are generally always helpful, and it really is the best place for him just now. I do understand his reasons for not wanting to go in though, but he is getting nowhere just staying at home, so there is little option really.

    Thanks again,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Huggs never sick of you or your posts. Always pleased to see your name! Thank you for being so,lovely to Jimmy and giving us an update. Poor chap though I tend to agree with your - it might be better if he went to hospital for tests. 'Please send him lotsbof love and a big hug fore you xxxx

  • Hi Tad,

Thanks for your kind words, and for your heartfelt support for Jimmy. If he is not online tonight, I intend reading out all your lovely messages to him, although he will probably murder me for mentioning the hospital issue! lol He will have to catch me first. ha ha

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Dear Jimmy,

So sorry to hear you are having a rough time. If you have to go into hospital, get yourself in, it might only be a few days, but they will get to the bottom of the itching, as it must be driving you mad. I am missing your posts, and I bet everyone else is. Get better soon my friend, lots of love Marie. Xx

  • HI Marie,

Thank you for your kind supportive good wishes for Jimmy which he will be very grateful for, I can assure you.

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Huggs - what would we do without you? Our very own oracle - nice for you to know you're appreciated by so many of us. I can only add my voice and concern to that of others and hope that Jimmy will heed all the advice given. On more than one occasion he's responded to a query or concern I've had and it's helped me to know what someone has read my post and taken the trouble to reply. We just want him well again.

  • Hi Nanny,

Thank you for your lovely words, and I have never been called an oracle before! lol I do feel appreciated, thank you, and it is my pleasure to help if I can, just as we all do, and all play a part in this great forum.

I really hope Jimmy will listen to all these messages ( which I will read out to him if he cannot get online) and make him realise just how much he is missed, and that we are all in agreement about getting further help, but I do understand his reasons.

    Thanks again,

    take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • What a lovely group of people you are! I have read your messages to Jimmy and realize there are still a lot of loving caring people in the world. Bless you all.

  • Hi Mooskie,

Love your name! Welcome to the forum and thank you for your kind words about the members of our forum. We are just like a huge family here, and do our best to look out for each other.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Thank you Huggs for updating everyone about Jimmy's current situation. I think that the advice you have given is excellent and obviously very necessary, although I am sure it must be very hard for Jimmy to make the decision to go into hospital. I wish you well Jimmy and hope things improve for you very soon. You will be in my prayers for what it's worth. Best wishes to both you Jimmy and Huggs. Ruth :) xx

  • Hi Ruth,

You are welcome for the update, and hopefully with all these messages saying the same thing, then Jimmy will realise he has to do something, and the sooner the better. I understand his frustrations though, but hope he can put them aside so he can get better.

Thanks again for your supportive message, and kind words.

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Thank you so much huggs on update for our dear Jimmy, tell him he is to get his sweet backside into hospital and soak up the care and attention he so rightly deserves, we are all sending positive healing thoughts and praying to our gods for his well being, he is to listen to you, or I'll be round to give him a bed bath, and I promise he won't like that ! God bless huggs and take care of you too x x x

  • Hi Medow,

LOL at bed bath scenario! hee hee hee. If I can contact Jimmy later on I will be reading out every single message to him, and hope it helps him realise he has to get more help than he is getting just now.

I just have this image in my head now of you trying to give Jimmy a bed bath. lol

Thanks for you message and kind words..

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • I hope you feel better very soon Jimmy.

    Take care.

  • Hi Riverbank,

  • Thank you Huggs :-)

Please tell Jimmy I've missed him so much & he has been in my thoughts since his last post..he was very poorly & uncomfortable. Tell him to get his kilt on & go and let those lovely nurses sort him out!

    Please give him my love

    Sue XxX

  • Hi Sue,

You are welcome, and I will pass on your message, word for word. lol I am going to read them all out to him tonight if he cannot get online. Thank you.

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Thanks Huggs for the update. I was starting to worry when I noticed Jimmy wasn't posting.

Hi Jimmy I'm so sorry to hear your not feeling well. We all miss you and your cheery jokes and your kind and thoughtful

  • Hi Ruby,

You are welcome, and thanks so much for your kind message of support for Jimmy, and I am hoping that when he hears all the messages it will spur him to get the help he needs, as I think it is going to take large numbers of us to get the message across in a more influential way.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • I don't post very often on this site - although I love reading about everyone - but just wanted to send lots of caring wishes to Jimmy. I find his posts both entertaining and uplifting. Such a brave and caring man, he deserves to get the best treatment possible. Jimmy, please take all help offered, even if it means a few days in hospital, and we all look forward to hearing from you again. xxx

  • Hi janann,

Thank you very much for your message of support for Jimmy, and everything you say is true, so hoping he takes everyones advice and gets more help.

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Huggs, once again thank you for updating us on my partner's well being. I hope he does go into hospital so he can rest and have continuous care.

You are right work is piling up, I need him back to solve all these crimes. Can you please tell him that we are becoming well known for our good work and people are contacting me daily asking for our help in solving crimes. I've even had a request from a lady asking if we can solve the problem of her missing frogs, they live in her garden poo,l but she can't find them anywhere. This is another mystery for us to solve. Can you please tell jimmy that I've got him a new deerstalker and magnifying glass.

My love and prayers to jimmy. xxxx

  • Hi MCO,

You are welcome for the update, and I hope all these messages saying the same thing will spur him into accepting more help even if that means going into hospital.

I knew all your work would be piling up, and all these new cases developing all the time too. I will be passing on your message word for word to our squirrel hero, as I hope to read them all out to him if he is not online yet, in the hope that because everyone is saying the same thing, it will spur him into action. I will certainly tell him of his new hat etc, and I am sure that will help too.

Thanks again for you kind message and good wishes.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • What a busy lady you are Hugs, So good to hear news of the lovely Jimmy, really wish it was better news. Do hope he can bring himself to go into hospital, a bit of treatment and TLC will do him the world of good. Life on your own when you are ill must be hell. every good wish to Jimmy and yourself, Bulpit

  • Hi bulpit,

It has been a bit busy these past few days, so apologies for my delay in replying to you, but I was on the mainland for an appointment today, so couldn't get anything done.

Jimmy is so independent and stubborn, both good traits when chronically ill, but there comes a time when we all need to accept help, and that time is now for Jimmy, so I am hoping that everyone's messages will help him realise this.

Thanks for you message and good wishes,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Jimmy, for when youre back online.

YAAAAAAAAAY. Now do as your told and get better sooner rather than later. We miss you.

    Carole xx

  • Hi Carole,

Thanks for your message, and hope Jimmy does as he is told!

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Thank you Huggs. Tell Jimmy it would be better for him in the long run to go into the hospital and get sorted (to some extent). We all miss him here and I especially miss his sense of humour. I can always rely on him to keep me going. Please give him my love and best wishes. Juney

  • Hi juney,

You are welcome for the update, and thanks very much for your lovely reply which I know JImmy will appreciate very much. I will pass on your message.

    take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Ok Huggs - I'm beginning to think from your long posts that maybe you are the love child of Leo Tolstoy & Margaret Mitchell!!!!!! Seriously though, what would we do without you - you spend so much time updating us all when others cannot let us know what is happening with them ,whether it's their own health or their "lappies". I can't really add anything to all the wonderful posts about Jimmy & just hope he has decided to accept whatever help is offered to him . He has so many health issues it never ceases to amaze me how cheerful he stays - but come on Jimmy -enoughs enough - please let someone help & then you can get be reunited with your "lappie " & get back to cheering us all up again . Does that sound selfish of me - it's not meant to - we just love having you in our lives . Thinking of you & hope you will be back with us soon . Love to you too Huggs, Helen .xxxxx😍😘

  • Hi Helen,

LOL Well, I have been called many things in my time but never that! ha ha ha :d

I agree with everything you say about Jimmy, and I am sure he will be so uplifted by all of these lovely messages. Thanks so much, it means a lot.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • I was just thinking last night that I'd not seen any posts from Jimmy? Thank you for letting us know Huggs, I miss his s.o.h, Tell him to get himself in hospital for a couple of days so he can be here quicker. I don't know anyone who likes hospitals, but sometimes you have to give in to get the best treatment. Better that than weeks of suffering at home! All our best wishes to you Jimmy and get back here soon, we all miss you! XXX OOO

  • Hi Nikkers,

You are welcome for the update, and I will be passing on all the messages to him If he cannot get online. Jimmy will appreciate your lovely supportive message,

    take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Hi Huggs, thanks for the update,Don,t know how you do it,manage your own health problems and care so much for other members ,you,re magic! Now Jimmy,I know how you feel about going in to hospital,I cherish my independence too. However as you know deep down they,ll get you in the end.So get yourself in there now and you,ll get it sorted out sooner, surly the longer you leave it the worse it,ll get.Get in there and cheer all the lovely nurses up with your great sense of humour, all the best my friend! D. :D

  • Hi Farmer,

aww, that is so nice of you. I am sorry for the delay in replying today, but have been on the mainland at an appointment so haven't been able to get anything done until the past wee while.

Thanks for your reply to Jimmy which I know will cheer him up and hopefully get him into a different mindset too. Thanks also for your kind words. :)

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Huggs, I've been on pins wondering what was happening to the wee lad so, like all on here, I thank you from the heart of my bottom - got that a bit wrong I think!!! I know the itch was driving him round the bend in the last post I saw and I get the feeling that one of his meds quarreling with another could be the cause, but if the stubborn feller won't go in he won't get sorted. If we've told you once Jimmy........! For the hundredth time get in there, have a relax and let them do their stuff - we all loathe hospitals but there comes a time when we really need to get over that and I think you know you've got to give it a go. Your choice, but I really agree with all your other friends on here.

  • Hi Dragonmum,

You are welcome for the update, and just glad to be able to do it.

Thanks for adding to the general consensus that Jimmy has to go into hospital, and hard as it is for him to do that, it is the only way that he is going to get the help he needs, so hopefully all these lovely supportive messages will help change his mind.

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • 'SO JIMMY' ALL THESE CARING FOLK CAN'T BE WRONG - Get your kilt in that hospital and get your monies worth out of them :D love you lots xxx

and anyway Huggs is always right you know so don't fight it :)

  • Hi eyes,

Thanks again, and you are so right in what you say. I am hoping that with everyone saying the same thing that it will encourage him to change his mind. I was waiting until I replied to all on this post and then try and contact him, and see how he is tonight, and hopefully make some headway. If there is anything to report I will post again.

Thank you for saying I am always right! lol Now I have it in writing too. ha ha. :d

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)

  • Hi huggs, been busy so not been on the site for a couple days....sent Jimmy a message last week but not heard back ...knew he must still be bad...... Jimmy as much as you hate it (we all do) but hospital is the best place they will get you back on your feet....and then think of all the fun you could have tormenting those poor nurses...do bite the bullet and get in hospital .....get yourself on the mend we all miss you.

    Take care Pegxx

Thanks Huggs for keeping us updated you do a great job and are always looking out for everyone....... Bless you xxx

  • Hi Peg,

Thanks for your lovely message for JImmy and your kind words. I spoke to Jimmy last night and his breathing is still very bad. He said he would get the doctor today if he isn't any better, but.........? I read out many of the messages to him, and he was very moved by all the responses. He has now got a computer but is waiting on a lead so he can access his emails which should happen today, and I am sure he will post if he can.

He also assured me that he would know when he has to go into hospital! I cannot talk, as I am the same myself, but I think many of us talk ourselves out of it, for as long as possible.

I hope he gets extra help which he needs asap.

    Thanks again Peg,

    take care,

hugs from Huggs xxx :) You are welcome for the update, its no bother. xx

  • First huggs thank you for your admiral work on the forum.

As for Jimmy, well I have just been there and was dead against going to the hospital, my wife however thought different, rang 999 and saved my life.

We all know where jimmy is coming from, none of us like hospital and sometimes find it hard to accept the fact that we cannot heal ourselves but need outside help.

Had my family listened to me they would be in mourning today instead of preparing for the spring and summer days ahead.

Do what's right jimmy and remember all of your friends are behind you.

  • Hi Allan,

Thank you, and you are welcome. I have just read your post of 3 days ago and learned what you have been through. I am so sorry you had to go through all of that, but your message is so uplifting and shows what the human spirit is capable of, along with the massive help from the NHS.

I hope your experience encourages Jimmy to get more help. I have just found out that he is now back online, but with a new computer to get to grips with it may take him a bit of time to get around to posting, but he has now email access. Hopefully all the lovely messages will boost him, but he has said he is "going to get me", for telling. lol

I hope you continue to improve Allan, and I am so pleased that you still have that burning hunger to see new days and the appreciation for the simple pleasures of life.

    Take care,

    hugs from Huggs xxx :)
