Hi sorry you have had no replies but this is a lung site so I don't think anyone would have any answers to that. x

Hello JoanCon. I think you've joined the wrong Healthunlocked group as we are all suffering lung problems. You're welcome to stay though ! :)

Here's a link to the womb cancer one.

Hi Joan, I'm really sorry you've had to go through this and I hope you've loved ones around you to support you.

There may be one or two ladies on the forum who've been through what you have and may have positive news to offer. I hope so.

All the very best to you for the future - and do try that link Puffthemagicdragon added to his reply, Healthunlocked have wonderfully supportive forums. P

I have known women who have had a full hysterectomy after cancer. No it did not come back. do you not have check ups at regular intervals? If you are worried it might be a good idea to visit your GP.

Hi Joan I had endometrial adenocarcinoma stage 1A 18 months ago. Although mine showed on biopsy the pathology on hysterectomy showed no malignancy. I believe this is rare. A vanishing carcinoma. I still get checked every 3 months but Im told there is very, very little chance of it recurring. Perhaps you came to this site because this type of cancer is known to recur in the lung. I could be wrong but I assume you had uterine cancer stage 1B meaning it is contained within the uterus? You may or may not have had any treatment apart from surgery? This would depend on the type of cancer eg: sarcoma, adenocarcinoma etc etc. Some are low grade other high grade. I would hope you are checked regularly. Take heart this is usually a very successfully treated form of cancer. There is a site called hystersisters I found it very helpful and would suggest you join it. Suz x
