PIP is for those under state retirement age. It is the same thing but called 'Attendance Allowance' when retired. So you only claim one of them depending on your age. x

PIP under 65,attendance allowance over 65.with PIP you can also claim the mobility part if you need it,with attendance allowance you can't.Loads of info on government web site.Sooki.
