We are holding a free IPF Meet the Expert event on Monday 10 November 2014 in Leeds.

This event is for people living with IPF, their family, friends and carers. You can learn more about IPF from local experts and talk to people with similar experiences. On the day we will be covering:

•What is pulmonary fibrosis?

•Why it is difficult to diagnose and treat?

•Current treatments and new research

•Understanding and managing the symptoms of IPF

•Where to go to get support

•Raising awareness of IPF

To book please visit our website blf.org.uk/ipfexperts or phone 03000 030 555.

I live in Hertfordshire, will you be holding an ipf event in this area?

Hi Rockett, sorry for not responding more quickly. I'm afraid at the moment we've got no plans to hold an event in Hertfordshire. The nearest event we've got is in Reading on the 17 Nov. You can also book on this by following the link blf.org.uk/ipfexperts

If you would like to attend a support group nearby they can be a great way to meet people and find out more about pulmonary fibrosis. We've got a list of pulmonary fibrosis support groups at blf.org.uk/Page/Pulmonary-f... Depending where you live in Hertfordshire, Cambridge may be your nearest one.
