Reciving A BLACK rose

YUMI Not quite what i ever thought ad recive or a subject ad like to be talking about .. But am i right or is it write in expecting a reef next

Or can you be over sencertive .. and quite wrong in a preseption of its meaning

Hello.

First off apologies if I muck this up, I'm not very good at writing posts.

Hopefully you know the person and can say whether they were meaning it in a positive or negative way.

I know black roses have other meanings.

My English side of the family have sent black roses to mark the beginning of a new period - a way of saying goodbye to the old and welcome to the new more positive way of going forward,especially after a traumatic period.

My Irish side say a black rose symbolises mutiny, strength, courage and resistence. It is often used by antiauthoritarian groups.

Either way, hopefully you can look at it as a unique beautiful wonderous flower and it can make you smile.

Hi Sltrog, Yes I know the person well within reason and she did say her intentions given like you say we are in barking on new chapter and her intentions being pure

But as you can imagian it would not be my first choice of flower I would like to recive or would send anyone given it's meaning well unless a cover letter note was included

Is a hard one as you like to believe and the purist sencertive in me would like to believe

It can mean rebirth or regeneration - so I would take it as that - but really it can mean whatever you like - is a beautiful flower so just be thankful for it in itself - no one has sent me flowers in years - hope that helps - take care xx

Cheers yer very true yer can mean anything really do like rebirth regeneration tho yes am very lucky as do like her alot

Hi onamisson a don't think it matters what sex these days but yer Is oppersit sex .... Could even say a Mrs Daz but don't know how she would feel

But yer I never had problems with marriage even like cake even tho am not religious it's more meaning and also I would not like DWP IIDB to get away with anything mainly pension

But it's hard finding the the right one and one you would like to

Daz I believe for every Mrs Right there is a Mr Right but is it worth it just think of all the problems you will have with DWP and the cake will only make you fat and then the church very cold places at this time of year.
