Good morning Wendells. If you have BT broadband as I have then you have a small but annoying problem. Two days ago they broke with Yahoo mail resulting in subscribers being forced to change their password. This is only for email access. Easy to do on a PC but a real beggar on iPhones and Android phones and Tablets. So if you use BT come back to me and I can help. If not good luck in resolving your issues.

I hope your chest / breathing is OK?

So far so good with me this year. Only one bad exacerbation this year and that was in early January when I was in Hospital with a broken hip. Would you believe it took 3 days before they would / could confirm I had a chest infection and was not anything to do with the anaesthetic !

Rant over, enjoy the forecast sun today ;-)

Hi Mollysdad - Im a bit confused as Im on both yahoo email (cr*p!) and BT broadband. Use a macbook pro laptop. I haven't seen anything at all about changing passwords so far and have had no problem with access, also not having any trouble getting on here as usual.

Sorry to hear about your hip, hope its mended well and you continue to avoid exacerbations. It is a lovely day today :)

Hello O2Trees, I have have notices from BT starting with a letter in January, several emails and popups saying that BT was to start rolling out a change from Yahoo from the end of February. However this was delayed for some reason or other.

Yesterday, when my Wife and I attempted to open our emails we were asked to change passwords. We did so on our Windows DeskTop with no problem. We now have a new BT home page as a result. Our two iPod's would not work with a password change ( we use WiFi to access the net via a BT home hub 4 ). I phoned BT for help and a charming and knowledgeable lady talked me through the process of deleting the Yahoo Server and installing the. mail,btinternet.com settings. Swopping the info on the Sony mobile took longer but now works. Today I will call BT to sort out 2 Android tablets as I had to hang up the call and pick up a 4 year old granddaughter. Much more fun ;-).

It could be that BT haven't got round to your account yet? You could ring them on their free phone number or just wait for the change.

Best wishes

Geoff

I shall probably wait Geoff. Too many other things going on to get in a stew before its necessary ;)

Glad you are getting sorted anyway. All best :)

Good Afternoon from here(OZ) O Obivously im not with BT,although with Telstra Big pond! Txs for reply anyway.

Oh goodness, you had a bad run with the broken hip,let alone the chest infection!

Typical though,of taking there time over the chest infection, not important to them,so can understand your frustration over it! Do hope alls well now.

Yes,I have been fairly lucky this winter( it's now Spring) only one exacerbation, but kept out of hospital.

Back to the login,Stone mentioned before about problems caused by updating to IOS 8,on the IPAD,& as I recently updated ( wish I hadent) maybe that's the cause!

Love the name Molly,by the way,I think a lot of the older names coming back,is lovely xx

Have a look at your cookies. Some sites rely on them to keep you logged in

Will do scribe txs xx

Hi

If your still using your iPad it is probilay connected with the upgrade, I have several log in issues, from different sites, with no set pattern.

If you using a PC , clear your cache and browser history, remove all reference to site from favourite ect, and start from fresh.

You could also try that with your iPad, remove any home screen references, clear your browser and then start a fresh,

in reply to stone-UK

Sadly Stone, have tried all that, without any luck.

I now really think its this IOS 8, as have been having probs.getting into banking etc,Txs anyway xx

Hi

Looking at the apple forum there are complaints galore, they have mentioned a further update shortly. May resolve some of our issues.

Although it does seem iPhone 6 will take preference, photo album was mentioned and log in issues.

Fingers crossed. Not tried banking yet!

Why It’s Important To Verify Your Email Address

Last Updated: Jun 20, 2014 06:22PM UTC

Verifying your email address confirms that this email address belongs to you. You can verify your email address by clicking on the link in the email we sent you. Once you have confirmed that you're the owner of that address, we can send you HealthUnlocked notifications.

Unfortunately until you verify your email address we're unable to send you email updates about:

password reset information if you forget your login information (username/password)

replies to your posts and questions

new direct messages to your HealthUnlocked inbox

daily or weekly notifications with content from your communities

How do I know if my account is unverified?

If you have a yellow bar at the top of your screen when you are logged in (as show below), then it means that your account is unverified. If you're unable to find the email in your inbox, please do the following:

1. Verify that the email address is correct and if it isn't, you can correct it by clicking on 'Update Email Address'.

2. Please enter a new email address and click 'Resend Email'.

OR

You could not have the password fixed so you have to log in all the time?

Have you recently updated your browser as I did mine and this time it failed to keep the saved passwords?

in reply to Tazzy2

Yes,updated to iOS 8,worst thing I could have done, nothing but problems since!! xx

Sounds like Windows 8.1 so double problems here :) Seems both released without thought but no doubt will call it a 'security feature' and not the * up it actually is! :)

I have to log in every day too Wendells so I can't help you. I have ticked "keep me logged in" but that seems to make no difference at all. Frustrating but I am used to it now. xxx

in reply to sassy59

Yes,I think I will have to find some patience,it seems to be missing lol! xxx
