I also have Psoriasis, but mine developed after I tried to commit suicide at 19. On speaking to a Holistic person who didn't know about my past, actually asked me if I tried to commit suicide as Psoriasis is linked to the Liver.

I don't know how true that is, but I was shocked when she asked me without any prompting!!

Hi kirsty72 thats for reply YER am sorry you felt like that back Truely.

A think its more a auto immunity disorder than if you felt that way.

Yer lots of things we do a think plays apart its like deferred and trade off

But yer your inflamation cells will do for your liver infact am sure there is ardeal gland that is like gate keeper that gets hammerd first then its like free for all

I too am a sufferer and the itchin is driving me mad especially in my hair. Its like catch 22 you put the cream on and your absolutely nackered and cant breath or you dont put the cream on an you get really breathless cos of the itchin! My doc just gave me some strong antihistamines and they seem to be takin the itch off a bit.

in reply to mcnally

I mcnally defo know how u feeling yep i to fleck like a dog.

Yer doc said to me same as you about taking hayfever pills when i feel like that too

Seem to work with me but like you say breathing is pitts

A recon its inflamation as i have FEV test and volumes same .. so can only be that or balls of shhhh floating round our lungs

I think psoriasis takes people differently. I had it for a long, long time, and then it started to disappear overnight. So many people say it is due to stress but I feel differently. I do feel it is caused by infection in the body. I had chronic tonsillitis years ago. They were removed but then I started chest infections. I was glad to get rid of my tonsils - nothing but trouble at the time. Pergola xx

in reply to pergola1

Hi pergola1 cheers yer i think its more than stress to .... ad like to think a was doing ok but chest is still tight

Its pits but what can we do apart from make most out of a bad situation

Hi Daz I have these dry almost round patches of skin similar to Psoriasis but I only have a few no where as bad as some. Mine come and go don't cause me any problem but they came up again last week and my breathing is worse and I feel slow and under the weather but around the same time as these dry patches appeared and I don't mean to be crude I got sores in my nose, I'm due for my lung function test at the end of this month so I will ask the nurse.

in reply to onamission

Hi onamission thaks for reply yer if its not one thing its ten of other

Would not surpices me if it was down to psoriasis yer i asked my lung doc about it

He was snotty and said its like asking plumber to fix ya fence you would just nit do it

A told me to ask my gp .. anyway he wont get of that light this time

Yer as far as spots yep might have idea

If you have little spots with heads on on arms to it can be Streptococcal infection

as that cause spots to and involves skin too

Hi Daz mine are flat no head when I first saw them thought oh my god its ring worm you try standing in front of the mirror trying to see what the dry skin is like on your butt not a nice thought sorry, then a few hours later found one on the top of my leg so I could see it was not ring worm.
