My herbalist suggested mint and elder tea. And eat as much raw garlic as you can. Hope that helps.

Licorice (can't spell it) is said to be good for lungs.

Lungwort, that must have some connection but I've never heard of it as a tea.

Just don't put your Manuka in a hot drink as it destroys the activity or antibiotic properties - so I've read on the reviews.

Nothing wrong in becoming a health freak, we need to be proactive to be as healthy as possible :)

It's the peroxide activity possessed by all honey that is destroyed by heat.

Genuine (UMF) Manuka honey also has antimicrobial activity that is NOT destroyed by heat.

Green tea for antioxidants. Ginger tea for settling tummy. Camomile for calming.

Gaelic coffee for fun ;)

I vaguely remember (and I am very vague in this heat) something about lungs and liquorice and meds having a bad interaction. Also ferrous sulphate cannot be taken with tea.

Anyone clever out there who is not prostrated by the heat and is not snuggled up with two fans (mechanical) and can do some further checking?
