Breathe Easy

The University of Kent has been asked by the BLF to conduct an evaluation of our Breathe Easy groups. If you have a respiratory condition, or are a carer, and would be interested in attending a Breathe Easy group but do not presently do so, we would like to invite you to take part in the study. Involvement in the study would require you to complete a number of questionnaires every six months for the next two years. The questionnaires will look at your understanding of your respiratory condition and also ask questions around your medication, and how confident you feel in managing your condition. The information that we collect from the questionnaires will be kept private and no identifiers used.

If you would like to find out more about the study, or are interested in taking part, please contact Rowena Merritt at r.k.merritt@kent.ac.uk or on 07456 763179.

Thanks

Mark

Well the university of Kent did a study on the benefit of singing. They darted some groups. I enrolled in one, but the leader has gone on to do some further study. We will have a substitute in the accompanying guitarist, but the university of Kent has not manifested more interest!

I am a member of the local Breathe Easy, but I find it difficult to go to the meetings as I have no transport. I am more motivated by the singing!
