for the less mobile amongst us - day rental of a Twizy electric car in the Brecons & The Lake District.

For those that don't know, the Renault Twizy is a very capable electric car with brilliant off-road performance. A bit of serious fun - get to places you never thought you'd ever see again.

This sounds really interesting. It would be wonderful to get to the places my mobility scooter can't reach. My only concern is about the possible reaction of other visitors to these areas, on seeing what looks very like a smart car chugging along the footpaths. Has anyone tried it yet?

This looks really good. Walking in the countryside is something I really miss. Although places where it can be hired is some way away from me, could be a good place for a holiday.

1961 i spent a month on the beacons peny fang ,army training i vowed then i would never ever go back there, but i have been and what a difference not having to lug weapons and ammo about, it is a lovely place when it is done at your own pace
