There is a place in Porta Polenca, which is quite close, that I have used in the past.

Yes, I hired one last September - it was about 100 euros per week. Just ask the hotel reception to get you one.

But I have since found that you can take your own scooter on the aeroplane free of charge. Thomas Cook Airlines were brilliant when we went to Tenerife last month, let me ride the scooter all the way to the plane then loaded it on and when we arrived they got it out of the hold for me to ride through the airport.

Hi boiler, I have hired both wheelchairs and mobility scooters whilst in Majorca, if the chair is not to your liking i.e. uncomfortable, dirty, make them adjust it for you or better still bring another. The same goes for the mobility scooter, I have only hired two on two separate holidays so I did not realise that if you give your weight and height they will bring one which is perfect for your size. The scooter I had in Portugal was large and was a road scooter, just as well as they do not go in for dropped kerbs etc, it was so comfortable I had no pains (I have arthritis) all the time I was away. A first for me. Go for it and enjoy your holiday, you will not be disappointed. Be safe though because Spain along with the rest of Europe are not as mobility friendly as us Brits. Good luck and have a good holiday. Maximonkey

Hi boiler, just a thought. I went to Algarve in May and before I went I googled mobility scooters in Algarve and up popped Algarve Mobility. Algarve Mobility had a good right up with Trip Advisor so I used them. They were terrific. Maybe, you should try it for Majorca? I always go to Trip Advisor to check hotels etc. so it seemed a good idea to check Mobility scooters. Have a great holiday. Maximonkey
