I am moving house on Friday so will lose my internet I have been promised it will be back by the 30th June fingers crossed.

Thought I would let you know rather than not be around with my two penneth.

I have just had a call that my van is not going to be there so got to find another now and to top things off I have dropped a can on my foot and boy does it hurt and is swelling

Thank goodness you know now, it will give you time to book a new van. Your poor foot will feel better with a soak in cold water. Hope you will feel better for the move D

Just got back from A&E and I have broke the knuckle to my big toe!

That sounds like a long time to loose the internet for just because of a move. We will miss you hope you settle in well in your new home. I'm on holiday for them dates too so see you when we get back on line around the thirtieth.

My move has been jinxed from the start the man with the van cannot get to me on time so I was going to get a luton van. I managed to break my knuckle on my big toe today so now i cannot drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is defo not a good start to anymove .. have to cut out piece plyboard use like a fliper so can still drive

Offcut: I haven't been around very much, partly due to my house move and a poorly husband. We moved end of April and I would say just about settled now in the South of England. Of course, house moving is a big upheaval but we had lots of help. I feel quite settled now and feel I can cope better with Brian being so ill.

Sympathise with the imminent loss of broadband. I did manage to survive this and the joy of seeing the box flashing blue.

One very surprising result of moving is that my constant chest infections have disappeared (TOUCH WOOD) I must still have the chest conditions that caused them but azithromycin and good air???? Love pergola x

I'm moving soon (and don't want to leave here). I'm not packing a thing until contracts are exchanged, just in case. I've nowhere to move yet to so all into storage (except me & the dog).

I'm trying to keep it calm. I cannot cope with stress anymore (it used to be my best friend). I'm not selling & buying at the same time to save on stress levels. So far solicitors are ok, I've used them 4 times in the past. Fingers crossed for you. P

Blimey! Must be the week for broken toes - I've managed to do two toes - stubbed foot on door frame and it hurt like hell. Was fine after a while and then two toes became sausages and bright red ones at that. Can't drive, can't walk very well and typically seem to 'walk' into solid objects with the bad foot more often than I can say. You gotta love life LOL xx

Hi Offcut I can sympathise with the toe I had a pin in mine for 8 weeks couldn't drive felt like I had my legs cut off.

I have been told I have to put a metal plate in the sole of my shoe to stop my toes bending?
