Well after another round of tests by my lovely doctor I think I'm doing just fine.

This year he sent me for the dreaded tread mill test and heart scan, all has came back fine. Heart is working just fine when put under exercise pressure and no worries with the scan.

I have been offered a fantastic life changing job abroad in Dubai-Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

I am flying out to Kuwait city and visiting Dubai in June then I will have to make the decision if I want to take it.

We are off on Holiday end of June so hope it all goes through before our holiday.

Just feel everything is falling into place after a horrid few years of health issues.

Just goes to show the importance of stopping smoking and doing the right things, wish (like all of us) I'd done it years ago though. FEV1 of 79% in 2012, 2013 it was 81% classed as very mild stage 1 with no meds required, just hope it stays this way.

Good news and what a smashing opportunity! Stopped smoking myself 5 months ago and about to have LF next week at the hospital.

Thanks peeg. I think I will get my LF results next week (on the day) but I don't have the appointment with my consultant until the 3rd. I am feeling confident!

That's great news 1968. Really wonderful, you must be proud of yourself for turning your life around.

The hot, dry & clean air should be good for you. Watch out for the air conditioning though. In Saudi we used to turn it off at night & open the windows.

Sea air will be great too. Brilliant, wonderful!
