Have been feeling off for quite a while

Cant find my mojo have lost my style

These lungs of mine are taking over

Not only in body now disturbing my mind.

I'm nasty now fed-up with this disease

Shortness of breath and the constant struggle

You all understand your in the same boat

Oh aint it a pain,I just need a good moan!

I Want more energy cos I have a list

My homes a state and needs a clean

Redecoration is needed in every room!

This time of year the garden needs doing

Pulling weeds,hedges to trim

Planting to do and puppy poo to bin!

Oh lordy lordy how i'd love a fag

On television a person lights up

I inhale deeply on my inhalator

Could I have just the one?

I think not it would be fifty one!

Its 8 1/2 mths,cant give in now

But I would like to have just the one!

Tis good to moan and vent our feelings!

When life feels lonely and an uphill trek!

Well Ive made a start on that list of mine

Have done some cleaning in my filthy kitchen

Cupboard doors and all white goods

Look brand new! this is good, I likey a lot!

Next was the bathroom which almost killed me

time to rest no more that day.

Eldest son has painted his room white!

Bedding,curtains and carpet too

He will learn with his first little spillage

and I'll be there with a wry little smile! :p

Youngest son has started mine

Magnolia walls and crisp white ceiling

New curtains and bedding will bring the colour.

The feeling is good as I look around

Still loads to do but a very good start

I will find my mojo it cant be far?

This sense of achievement with this blimming long list!

The boys behaving! their cruel tongues abated!

Sun shining I'm sitting and writing this scribblet

Enjoying the warm rays, smelling grass and bbq's

Life aint that bad Jane, today is just grand :)

Thats all for now folks

Breathe Easy

Keep well

Smile

:) :) :)

Jane xxx

Hello porche296 your not wrong with the paint fumes fortunately its only emulsion which ofcourse smells but doesnt linger like gloss paint, and I dont use that because of its smell lasting so long.Well life is slow for us with dodgy lungs but Im getting there,we're a bit like yoyo's up and down.Thank-you Im glad you liked my scribblet update. How are you at the moment? Hi Longlungs.Nice to hear from you again, thought you had gone out on gerty and got lost.I finally got the hibernator out and went for a spin but I had to take my oxy bottle with me as my breathing is pretty bad now is getting worse by the month.Have to see my consultant on Monday and I hope to persuade her to let me change from bottle oxy to a portable concentrator as the bottles are getting to much for me,i am expecting to be put on oxy 24/7 as I think I have moved on to final stage and the Med I am on don't appear to be doing much.Hope you stay well.Bengunn.xxx.

in reply to Bengunn

Good luck on Monday Bengunn! Sorry to hear things not so fab,at the moment, make sure you let her know how you're feeling!

Hi Jane, what wonderful scribblets you do,have realy missed them! Big Huggles to you, gentle ones of course!

Now don't go overdoing it gal,you made me tired listening to you! But it is a wonderful feeling when it's done isint it?

Have you been getting out on Gertie?Im sure she was missing you,or maybe enjoying a rest ha ha !

Had to smile at the sons choice of color, have a feeling he will regret the white,or maybe become very clean conscious??

Anyway, take good care of yourself,& we will look forward to the next edition of life with long lungs!! love Wen xxxx

Hi Wendells nice to see you aswell, thanks for the huggles much appreciated let me tell you.Ihave a garden thingy that you can sit on which has little wheels so I bought that in along with bucket so I didnt have to keep standing to rinse my cloth made things a lot easier.Sometimes when things have been left a while before they've seen a cleaning cloth its so satisfying to see the difference when you do get round to it :p Yes I think he will anyday now hahaha they dont listen he will learn! I shall be out on gertie over the weekend need to go to get a few plants etc not too many just a few for a little colour,my spider plant has had loads of babies so I shall be planting them outside.Afew stringless runner beans and 2-3 cherry tomatoes and my strawberries which are expanding every year and thats my lot more than enough for me to cope with me thinks.Hope your keeping well and hows your hubby doing?See you soon :) Janexxx

Best read for a while think you got it all in there how a lot of is feel. Got a friend comes every other week tomorrow her house is like a palace and she has the odd dig at me oooops sorry mate might get more done next time you come

longlungs profile image
longlungs in reply to victoriablue

Hi victoriablue thank-you.I dont think some more able bodied people really get just how difficult it can be for us at times , even all the time!Long gone are the days when I could go through the house in a day.I put washing on the line the other day, just getting from the backdoor to washing line was difficult enough,to peg a towel on the line warrants a sit down get breath back and carryon so quite major or it is for me,if it then rains im in all sorts of trouble! We do what we can Im sure your friend doesnt mean to offend to be friends is more important than how clean your home is,she could offer to help lol!Keep well now :) Janexxx

Good to hear from you lots of love xxx
