Thanks Stone, for doing this for us all, who are dying of curiosity to see the new layout of the site. I think it looks interesting. Like anything else there will be a few glitches and will have to learn our way around it. Puff also provided a link to it, so I just hope neither of you get into trouble for allowing us to see a little of it. If you do, then just say you had to do it for our emotional wellbeing.!!!! Thanks again, hugs xxx

Hi

Beta is the second stage of a new release, the first being alpha..

The beta version is sent to groups of people or organisation to test in real time.

Usually with a feed back option..

Any glitches or improvements can be corrected before final release.

Thanks Stone. You seem to know a lot about how all these things work, so have you been around BLF a while then? hugs xxx

No, there is only one column for question and post.

Simlar to Facebook. Apart from that it the same with a different layout.

From home page click on "all post " and all the options are there.

Hi Wendells

Providing you use the link from your e-mail, there should be no reason for the link not to work. I am using mini-pad it opens in Safari browser.

Have you installed any security apps which may stop the link working.

OK you say an image will not be visible. How about all the avatars and little pictures that identify us?

Will we still be able to send links from say, YouTube. because there are relevant videos to us?

Hi

Avatars are visible , links can be posted.

As it is only a bête version they have not include the image option.

There is a feed back option where members can input any suggestions.

I was invited to take a look, used the new beta site yesterday. Today I'm back to the old one again :-(
