Does anyone have severe red infected eyes? Have had it since Sunday when dust was first noticed on cars.

Even though we're not too badly affected here in N E Lincs my eyes are red and puffy. I thought it might be a side effect of a new medicine but is probably more likely to be the weather

I had less of it along the Thames Estuary. Still, I suddenly had a "patch" on my eye. I bathed it in warm water and it's better. sometimes when I have sore eyes, I use half a teaspoonful of bicarbonate of soda in tepid water to soften and soothe the eyelids.

that's a good tip thanx helingmic, it worked well, I used your half teaspoon bicarb in one pint of tepid water, thank you.

If you drink this (preferably not the same mixture !) it will soothe your stomach against acidity.
