Hi June - My husband suffers with severe COPD but has not complained about painful ribs. Might be worth a phone call to the helpline (click on the red balloon in the corner). TAD xx

Good advice from TADAW. I have very severe COPD and, whilst I have had discomfort in my ribs, I have never had pain there.

Hi junespoon, I have pain in my ribs, middle to bottom usually on one side. This is due to inflammation and is called, costochrondritis. Not sure if this is the same as you have.
