Catarrh

I think I have got catarrh in my ears, in the left ear it sounds like I am hearing through a megaphone the right one is not so bad. I am a bit nasally and during the night my nose blocks and then clears once I am sat up. Does anyone know if oxygen irritates the ears and causes this and how do I manage with the oxygen if the catarrh gets bad in my nose.
