Since January 2011, the Department of Health has been running a ‘Be Clear on Cancer’ campaign to promote awareness and early diagnosis of cancer. The campaign has had a number of different focus points in the last few years, and next month, February 2014, it will be focusing specifically on lung cancer in South Asian communities.

If you are of South Asian origin and have been diagnosed with lung cancer, please contact us if you would be happy to feature in this part of the campaign by sharing your story with the media (potentially print, radio and TV). Using a personal story in a campaign such as this one can really help bring it to life making it easier for the public to relate to and understand, so you would be making a huge contribution for others who haven’t yet been diagnosed.

Please send us an email to press@blf.org.uk or give us a call on 0207 688 5580 if you are interested. Thank you!
