The BLF is helping to set up a new support group for people affected by IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis) in the North East of England. The group holds its first meeting on Wednesday 8 January 2014, 1.30-3.30pm at the Dene Centre, Disability North, Castle Farm Road, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 1PH (opposite Freeman Hospital). Guest speakers Sarah Rice and Julia Johnson from Newcastle Hospitals NHS Trust will be talking about managing breathlessness and fatigue and Mike McKevitt, BLF Head of Patient Services and Ruth Fleming, IPF Project Co-ordinator, will be giving an update on the BLF's IPF/ILD work.

Please come along if you can or get in touch if you would like information about future meetings. BLF Helpline 03000 030 555; enquiries@blf.org.uk
