Happy New Year to you all.

Well it's that time of the year again, 2014 lets hope it will be a fantastic year for us all, I do hope and pray.

Well Christmas was very good, I took the family out for Christmas dinner in laws as well, first time we have ever eaten out at Christmas but it was well over due for the wife. No rushing about after the kids un wrapped the prezzies, no stress of making the dinner and tidying up afterwards, we had a very relaxing-enjoyable time, it was that good we even booked the same restaurant again for next year.

Just back from the in laws, they made new years dinner, come to think of it we ain't cooked Christmas or New Year lol, what a difference being catered for. It's usually us that have everyone else down for dinner.

Well I hope you all had a lovely time, I wish you a very Happy New Year and wish you all the best for the future.

I have had a great start to 2014.....choked with the cold.. Luckily so far, not gone into lungs yet,

But hey, the grandkids had fun and I`m still breathing so cant be that bad!!

Hi David. We started going to our Sons Christmas Day and Boxing Day about three years ago. Up until then I used to cook for the family. We went to Looe in Cornwall this year for New Year's Day. For the last three years since I lost my parents we have just stayed at home on our own. It made a lovely change. We really enjoy Looe anyway. We used to take the children there years ago so it has many happy memories. It's nice for us to sit back for a change. A very Happy New Year to you and your family. X
