..........................KOTC GRANDPA'S CHRISTMAS STORY

Grandpa KOTC decided last year that shopping for Christmas presents had become to difficult

All the grandchildren had everything they wanted, so I decided to send them each a cheque.

On each card I wrote

'Happy Christmas Grandpa'

P.S. Buy your own present.

CONCLUSION

Now while I enjoyed the family festivities, I thought that my grandchildren were slightly distant.

It preyed on my mind into the New Year.

Then one day I was sorting out my study and under a pile of magazines, I found a little pile of cheques for my grandchildren.

I had forgotten to put them in with the Christmas cards !!

Amused about the missing cheques. Must say I used to love buying pressies when the children were younger. Now the fun has gone. One granddaughter wanted book tokens which was nice to think she liked old fashioned books.

No matter how much we try everything is so fast moving at this time of year. Do banks let you post date cheques spreading the cost of Christmas I love it when a plan comes together ha ha
