Hi, My husband suffers with severe COPD but does not complain of pain in his lungs unless there is an infection brewing. I would suggest you ring the BLF helpline and ask their advise. (Click on red balloon in corner) Take care and good luck TAD xx
If you are struggling to breath you may be sitting in a hunched position which cases aches around the back. Some times I get pain in the side of the chest which is due to build up of mucus in that area. Coughing can also cause muscle strains.
