Just went over my 2012 and 2013 Sprimority test results. FEV1 FEV in 2012 was 79% and in 2013 it went up to 82% however just noticed a decline in the small air way numbers, can they rectify them-self now I have stopped smoking or are they irreversible.

Many people see an increase in their FEV1% when they stop smoking, and if you check recent posts, exercise helps too. They will never get back to pre-disease levels but every bit of slowing down the disease helps. And remember, each time you take a test there may be a small variation in the blowing you do.

I think to go from 79 to 82 is excellant. Well done for stopping smoking. Isn't it nice to see visible results. Well done Mine is 79 last count.
Thanks for the reply everyone, the bad thing is it's Boullus Emphysema I have, I think I have stabilized it and I hope the lung disease won't progress due to me not smoking and taking myself away from smoking environments.
