The lady who does some cleaning for me moved the beds yesterday to vac behind them. When my hubby sat on his last night it rolled away and he was left lying on the floor. I tried unsuccessfully to help him up, he is 21st I am 8 silly I know :-P Anyway called the ambulance they checked him over and tucked him up for the night, he slept like a baby and only has one small bruise this morning :-) on the other hand I was awake most of the night worrying about him and I ache all across my back and shoulders, won't be trying to lift him again.

OMG - what a nightmare! I don't know how you even tried to help him up. You need some warmth on your shoulders and back - try a hot water bottle. Glad he is oK though. What a worry. Have an easy day and do very little. Take good care TAD xx

I hope they checked you too? There may be pulled/strained muscles. It must have been terrifying for both of you. (((HUGS))). xx

Oh Polly that's aweful - I am so glad everything turned out alright in the end.

Love cx

Pollie, so sorry to hear about your plite. I black out going outside for my paper and came too in the garden after checking myself I had a very bad cut on my forearm and similair to you I am 16 stone and my wife is only 7 stone. I took a mini stroke. However the reason I am writing this is I am on oxygen 24 x 7 with COPD, bronchiectasis and critical heart failure, My community health care suppilied me with mini cot sides which a stops me falling out of bed and I can pull on them to sit myself up. This is something you may consider for the future. God bless you both and I wish you the very best. Berwick xxx

Aw Polly, how awful for you. Well you should take a hot water bottle to bed with you tonight, and hold it close to your back and shoulders. Hope you feel better tomorrow after a good nights sleep.Take care. Cheryl x
