VOCAL HARMONY...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.............................................VOCAL HARMONY

Last night I went to a service of song at Trentvineyard Church. Between 400-500 people attended and we sang our hearts out for1,1/2 hours plus encores. The band and singers were fantastic, very rock 'n' rollish

I thought that singing was good for breathing. I couldn't breathe properly during the night and have been short of breath all day. Perhaps I should not have done all my singing in one go!

One good thing the singing did for me, when I went to sleep I didn't hear my self snore. So perhaps it does help in the cessation of snoring.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening for me as I do not normally venture out at night.

WOW! It sounds as though it was an amazing evening. There is something about lots of humans singing together that lifts the spirits. Alison :-)

Glad you enjoyed your choral night out, music is good for the soul as well as helping our lung capacity.

A couple of years ago, we were having a big family celebration, my wife's 60th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary amongst others. I desperatly wanted to sing to my wife "You make me feel brand new". My daughter in law, who is a singing tutor gave me lessons including breathing. The breathing lessons were hard at first but I settled into them. I sang to my wife, I sang with all my heart and with all my soul and, more importantly, all my breath. It does lift your spirits but see if you can find someone who will train or teach you for the breathing side. Believe me, it is just as good as PR and the enjoyment it gives is off the scale. Well done. Been to Trent Vineyards several times but not recently.

I sang "You make me feel brand new"....the Simply Red version, not the Stylistics....would have needed body parts removing to sing that high. Have a look on You Tube, I'm not there but Simply Red are.
